Some people on earth were created and stayed the same and will always stay the same forever and ever and ever.
Other people origin from evolution and are more evolved and continue growing and evolving into something better.

What's the big deal ? Compromising is always better, right?

Yes, since we can not say 100% which way is the truth I think letting people believe as they choose is a win, win answer. Let those that think they were created go on thinking that and being happy with that truth if it works for them. All the ape people can go on believing that they evolved from apes and be happy with that. While some of us believe that all life is created from the energy of God and evolved into what we are today. No, compromising is NOT always better because compromise, to a point, becomes surrender. If you always give in, people will see that and take advantage of you. You don't have to do a complete pendulum swing and be stubborn all the time, but you need to pick your battles. Some things are worth standing up for, especially if involves how other people treat you or if it's something that's very important to you. Other things aren't that big of a deal. So don't automatically give in, but think before you refuse to bend.

I'm impressed!
Mainworry finally gave an answer without vomiting biblical scripture.
however... with the people like mainworry there will never be any room for compromise. they believe its their way or else you are to be attacked.
i am with you though. let people believe what they will and just mind your own business.
my beliefs are just that MINE. yours are yours and we should respect that.
if this can be accomplished then we will have put an end to 98% of the fighting in the world.

Indifference.
If we can’t have discussions about our thoughts and beliefs without resulting in a circular argument or an end statement leaving out the realm of all possibilities, then we must accept the fact that our minds are shutting out the possibilities

Wrong. There's no compromise between food and poison, and there can be no compromise between the rational wisdom we need to survive and the superstitious lunacy that will get us all killed.

In theory, yes. But I'm not going to compromise in a way that makes me feel stupid.

Wrong grasshopper.

There is no precedent in God's Word.

The more you so-called evolve or grow, the more spiritually blind and dead you become.
