When rampaging across Europe, Islam garnered the tag "The Green Menace". Thus, Mohammed individually is not the green horseman, but islam collectively is.

In the relationship of horse and rider, the horse is the "vehicle" which the rider uses to accomplish his objective.
The four horses in Revelation 6 represent four ideologies, the first (white) horse represents white colonialism with Britain predominating (a crown was given to him).
The second (red) horse is the ideology of (red) communism (power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another). 174 million have been killed by this terror.
The third ideology represented by the black horse is the counterfeit money economies of the west which ruthlessly supress individual wealth creation in favor of their command and control structure of sanctions and bankrupcy to keep people and nations in lock step with their purposes.

The 4 horsemen are 4 of the events or plagues that happen during the tribulation. The first is the white horsemen, he is either the anti-christ or his act of conquering because this is the conqueror. The red horsemen is the bringer of terrible wars. Next is the black horse, which brings economic ruin to the entire world. The last horsemen is named Death, he is riding the pale horse. This one brings famine, plague, and increased death by wild animals to the earth (this may be through diseases like rabies, AIDS, and possibly that bird flu). The only one of the horsemen that is probably a literal person is the white one, but since all the others are events I'm willing to think the white horsmen is actually the act of the anti-christ's "peaceful" conquering.

The first horse and rider, white in color, represent the church going out, in victory, sharing the gospel. The time, however, eventually came where the church actually became a persecuting power, pictured here as a rider on a red horse with a sword in his hand. History tells us that the church turned on its own members killing more than fifty million in a period of just over one thousand years of rule. The crime of many who were killed was the "crime" of reading the Bible. Most history books that told the truth about this have been carefully destroyed. The one that is still available in book stores today is Fox's Book of Martyrs, written By George Fox over four hundred years ago. The apostate church, is pictured in Revelation 17:6 as "drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus."
The black horse is next. The rider of the black horse is seen holding the scales of death. A voice screams out, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages." There seemed to be a spiritual famine for the Word of God. The same voice said, "Do not damage the oil and the wine!" Even though the established Christian church rebelled against God, the Spirit of God and His graces were not wholly extinguished. Revelation 6:6.

The four horsemen are not literal horsemen. This is the only way that God knew we could comprehend it. The four horsemen are only the different diseases, catastrophies, natural disasters, etc etc. that are supposed to take place at the apocolypse. Also I want to add that there is no "set" time that all this is supposed to happen. So AIDS could be one, Katrina another sign, and so on...

My opinion is that they are special creations of God for carrying out His wrath upon the nations in the future. The interpretive scheme that sees all phenomena in the book of Revelation as literal people and events that have already occurred throughout church history is called "historicism." It was popular in the Reformation era only, but then it died a natural death. The events described in the middle chapters of Revelation will still happen in the future, so no, Mohamed is not the rider of the green horse.

Think about this: What you wrote is being recorded in the Book of Life. And you will be judged by this.

There is no green one. There is a white horse, a red horse, a black horse, and a pale horse.
If you know about a green one, maybe it is sick from these asinine questions.
