Are you for real?
If you truely knew God or even wished to then you would instinctively know the answere to this question. As it stands it appears to be a wind up!

Is god and any weapon compatible? People used to fight with swords in the name of god, Sticks, stones.
People do a lot of killing in the name of their one true god.
I would have thought with all these one true gods people would stop for a moment and say "Hang on, if your god is the true one and mine is, then which one is real?"
Back when the world was smaller each continent had its one god and they crushed all others. But now the world has shrunk so much we cant keep living in these false beliefs.
I personally dont believe in any god. Cant see how anyone can myself.

Pull up St. Gabriel Possenti on any Internet search engine. He is the Patron Saint of Sharp Shooters for saving his village from a band of marauders.
Guns are just tools. Used correctly they can serve useful purposes: Self-defense, protection from wild animals, & to provide food.

Many people who believe in God do have guns.
Also many people have been killed or murdered throughout history for not believing in God. Wars have been fought over the sect of the different believers in God. Al Capone believed in God and went to church evey Sunday.....

yes, and there is scripture to back it up.

a gun is a modern version of a sword.

It depends. What are you using the gun for. If it is for hunting (for food, NOT for sport), you can do this, as God has given us the animals to eat (Genesis 1). Also, if it is to preserve your life, you can do this.
