I was raised as a Buddhist, my best friend's a Christian, i hang out with friends who's a Jew, Athiest, Catholic and my co worker is a Muslim. My sister converted into Catholic when he got married. So I've been to a lot of temples, churches, senegal, etc. I've been around a lot of religion and went into it with an open mind.
I do not believe in fully all the religions I've encountered. My belief is that there is a God that set the path for me to live. I can die early or late depends on my path. God wanted me to do good so I can be in heaven. Reality is not heaven because there's pain and suffering so you must past the test in order to be in heaven. I can do bad because I have a choice but the end result will not be good. That's what I believe in. I do not believe in repent. However, I do not read the bible because I do not believe most of the stuff in the bible. I do not believe all the magical things happened cus it's not reality to me.
What does that make me?

I dont believe in going to church every Sunday because most of the people in church are hypocrytes. They do good in church but end up doing bad in real life. Hense the priest molestic kids and prisoners reading bibles in prison. What a bunch hypocryte. I do not believe in Jesus as God. I believe he is just a good man who wanted to passed his belief to people. All of those hocus pocus magical stuff I do not believe.

It would seem to make you an open minded person who seeks spiritual connection without the downfall of organized religion. If you need to place a label on your beliefs, you might say that you're a spiritual person or a person who believes in eclecticism. An agnostic may or may not believe in a god, but by definition, they are not concerned - you seem concerned and you seem to want to have some connection to your creator as you conceieve of god - not as a socio-political entity dictates that you do. Faith is like a big buffet - take what you like and leave the rest.

You are exactly what I used to be before I got saved, you are agnostic. You believe that there is some "higher power" but you dont believe organized religion is the way to go. So all in all you are still lost just like the non-believer. Jesus Christ is the way. God was tugging at my heart a year before I got saved and He is doing the same to you or you wouldnt be asking the same questions I was when i was in your shoes. It all seems so confusing seeing so many religions and not knowing the truth, but I will tell you this from my own testimony, I have studied Taoism, Catholicism, ect and the only thing that changed my life, that gave me a peace and a joy unspeakable, that revolutionised my way of thinking and my life was Jesus Christ. I had no idea how miserable I was until I gave my life to Him. You really should give Him a try.
Think about it, you can believe in what ever you want to believe in: If you want to say that 2 + 2 = 17 then hey thats what you believe. But no matter what you 'believe', 2 + 2 = 4. And Jesus Christ= God.
If you want to talk more, email me.

Wow, for someone who does not read the bible you sure seems like you think you have all the answers. Please read the New Testament before assuming you know who Jesus is. There is no hocus pocus magic, they are called miracles. Miracles happen when God intercedes and heals, miracles are usually immediate. I have experienced miracles in the life of my loved ones.
Hypocracy is not an excuse not to go to church, it is not only church goes who are hypocrits, in every walk of life there are hypocrits. However, it is up to you to get to know God. The devil will place obstruction in your way and yours is the hypocrits that you are describing. No one is perfect but God, people make mistakes and the great thing about Christianity is that God will forgive you of any mistakes you make as long as you ask. No matter what or how often he is able to forgive you of these.
How can you not believe the stuff in the bible if you haven't read the bible. Many have tried to disprove the bible, however yet they have all failed. There are miracles of healing happening all around us, they do not make the daily news, however they do happen. If you do a little research into christianity, you will hear and see alot of miracles.
May God richly bless you on your journey.

That makes you lost.... The bible says in James, that even the demons believe in God, and shudder. It is the Relationship with Jesus Christ that is saving. Knowing that He died for your and my sins, accepting that being good, or doing good works isn't enough.
Jesus says, I AM the way, the truth and the life, no one will come to the Father but by the Son.
It sounds like you are seeking, I pray you seek for truth, which is the Word. Be blessed.

A fool. If you believe in a God who created the immense universe why would it be so hard to believe that he made little miraculous things happen (as recorded in the Bible). If you believe in a God who created people, then why couldn't you believe that he has revealed Himself to us (in the Bible). A fool because you say you believe in God, but then you refuse to accept what He has said about us and Himself. You don't believe in God, but a god that you have created in your own imagination -- a god that will not save you on the day of judgment.

Your friends do not define you; you are the only one who can do that. Or maybe you lack definition. This is not a bad thing.
I wandered for a while before reaffirming my Catholic faith. You've said you're on a path set by God. Maybe you haven't come to the point that you've found you're calling yet.
Happy walking.

You are what we call a fence sitter. It means that you cannot make up your mind on anything in life. I recommend to everyone that has this trait to close your eyes, spin your head around, and fall off the fence. Maybe you can live better on the side you fall on. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to help you make a decision. Good fortune to you. ><>
