In the case of those radical Christians who feel justified in doing things like killing doctors who perform abortions, yes. Some Christians believe they have a duty to rid the world of people who pose a treat to their organized set of beliefs. In that case, yes. Of course, when someone or some group poses a threat to others or themselves, the threat needs to be contained. However, nobody should be imprisioned simply for their beliefs. Only when those beliefs pose a real physical threat.

You're obviously mad about something, hence your your name. People that are angry generally want to blame a certain group for it. The laws of the land, as just as can be, punishes crimes as endangerment to others, not because of their religion. I have met people of all faiths that I felt weren't representative of their spirituality. And it's sad because it's those small percentage of people that make their religion look bad, because of their behavior. It applies to all labels not just religious ones. If you want to persecute someone for endangerment to others, you need to be lawful about it. Religion is one of our freedoms and that in itself is not a crime. The United States operates on a more equal law system than the rest of the world, and if you want to believe that being a certain religion is a crime, than you have sadly insulted our forefathers and what they build this country on. Clearly if you believe in persecuting someone because of their religion, you should not be celebrating fourth of july, or any other national holiday the United States celebrates, or even call yourself an American. However the freedom of speech that you like to use, is only given to you because of the Bill of Rights, same ones that protect freedom of religion. It's unfortunate that some people abuse their own freedoms and in the same breath want to take certain freedoms away from people. What a hypocrite.

Be more specific. In what way do you believe Christians endanger others? Or Themselves? If they do endanger themselves, then let them. I don't like Christians that bother other people either, but you can't just throw someone in jail unless you have a damn good reason for doing so. You sound like a bit of a fascist.

I think punishing someone based on their religeous beliefs directly conflicts with the purpose of founding this nation in the first place.
If you take away freedom of religion, you take away the foundation of the United States.
Be a patriot and stand up for your country. Don't try to tear it apart.

Also, there is no danger found in Christians. I don't know why people think of Christians as dangerous....
The religion of Islam is referred to as the religion of the sword because it was originally spread by the "convert or die" method... Christianity was spread because people notice a difference in the lives of the believers... a change for good.
Faith in Jesus Christ brings peace, not violence.

Jail time is inppropriate.

Prolonged mental health care for persistent delusional state, or perhaps humane sterilization and isolation in concentration camps could work, but that is really too nazi for me.

::Sigh:: Just don't EVER vote for loud-talking, so-called "Christians," don't hesitate to debunk cult leaders like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson (or the other fruitcake fundamentalist lreachers), and organize resistance to these nuts when they try - again, and again - to influence our schools or take over our government agencies.

I don't think Christian deserved such punishment. The Christian has been persecuted ever since for the mistake of others, Jailed, accused of somethng they did not commit. Attacked, murdered, mocks, adulterated, and hated by the world etc. Do you think they are harmful? or harmless. Jesus Christ called them sheep,

In the true christian community you cannot find terrorist. But, the copycats pretend to be christian are danderous. Just think about their shepherd, his character are reflected in them.

If you want to be a Moslem, just say so! You must have had a bad experience with Christians to say such a thing. How you figure they endanger anyone is a puzzle to me. If you don't like what they say, ignore them. They believe in what they say. Do you believe in anything worthwhile? At least they have a commitment to God and fundamental goodness. What do you have?

No. I think there is serious problems with prosecuting someone or something on the grounds of religion and beliefs. I think Hitler had a similar idea if I remember correctly....and that didn't turn out to well.

I think christianity is one of the most persecuted beliefs out there. It endangers nobody to hear the truth. I'm sorry for you.

Normally no. But in today's atmosphere of most arguments being solved by christian right groups as "because God told me so" makes it pretty tempting but would be wrong.
