I had a life changing event when I was 17 and up until then I was a devout Roman Catholic (I'm 25 now). I believed in Heaven and Hell. But, nowadays I'm not so sure. I don't much believe in Hell as I used to because I think that God forgives everyone as long as they ask for forgiveness. And as for Hell, Jesus was a Jew and Jews didn't believe in Hell, so why should followers of Christ believe in it either? Besides, many of the symbols that became associated with Satan and Hell were Pagan symbols that the Christian/Catholic Church purposely used to scare people into thinking that if they didn't convert they were going to burn in Hell and Jesus didn't judge anyone. Also, forever seems like an awful long time. Sure, I want to go to Heaven, but being anywhere for ETERNITY seems a little too overwhelming. No one has gone to Heaven and come back and told us what it's like. Anyway, share your thoughts w/ me. Don't bother though if you're just going to attack me.

As Christians, we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that after He ascended into heaven The Holy Spirit came as the "Comforter". Now that is all biblical. Jesus called God his Father, so Jesus must be God's Son, and He said He must go for the Comforter to come. That is what I meant by the Trinity. God as the Father, God as the Son, and God as the Holy Spirit. What is it about that the freaks Muslims out so completely?

Can I get some responses from people who don't feel like they have to force their beliefs on other people? What does upsetting someone really accomplish? Because its certainly not going to convert them. This is why my mother never told people she was Pagan when I was a child....she was afraid someone would try to take me away from her. A little paranoid...but sadly it could happen.

Why do Mormons and/or Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only so many thousands of them will go to Heaven? If there are only "reservations" for so many thousands to go, then don't you think they would figure out the the seats are probably already filled up? What's the incentive to keep trying?? I'm glad MY beliefs are that ALL true Christians get to go...no matter how many!

You see it and hear it all the time around you, on most networks, etc.. If someone turns to their fellow human, whom they see about to run headfirst into disaster or destruction, like something that may 'feel good' at the moment but be harmful to you both mentally, spiritually, & physically in the long run, maybe into other people's lives as well, and tries to warn them by telling them the problem and/or where it is wrong, the person trying to help, out of love for their fellow human, is emphatically called a 'hater' or is said to hate those they are trying to help. That is like saying that, if I see you heading out into the path of an oncoming train, that if I love you, I will not say a word to you about it, so that I won't hurt your feelings by telling you, etc. I wouldn't won't someone like that for a friend because he wouldn't even help watch your back or anything. Seems like these Christians are onto something, and everyone seems to be committing atrocity and persecution by blame

The ash of a deceased person; inhaled would be considered cannibalism? Or not?
Just out of pure curiousity after seeing a vile of some ash. It may or may not have been that of an actual human.
And would it actually be considered a sin? Since it's not consuming, yet inhaling.
