Hello!
I don't know if you believe in God or the devil, but there is real power in the name of Jesus to make these ghosts and demons leave you alone. The next time this happens, command the ghosts to "Leave me, in the name of Jesus!" or "Stop it, in the name of Jesus!" - something like that. You can do this even in your dreams. Take a stand against them and don't let them intimidate you. You don't need to be a Christian for this to work. The power is in the name of Jesus. The ghosts and demons recognize the name of Jesus and they have to respond to the authority of that name. You can also cry out for Jesus to help you when this happens. Just call out loudly, even in your dreams, "Jesus, help me!" - and He will!

I answered a remarkably similar question just an hour ago. Allow me to cut-and-paste that answer:

I was speaking with a psychiatrist about this the other day. Some people, especially during the onset of sleep, experience a kind of 'night terror', wherein they may feel unable to move and may experience mild hallucinations. The story of the 'bogeyman' probably comes from this sensation.

Apparently, the muscles behave differently in sleep and in waking hours. Some people can experience a phenomenon where their mind is awake, yet their muscles still function as if they are asleep (i.e. are inactive). They also often experience pressure on their chest and/or a feeling of difficulty breathing. This is similar.

It's harmless. Either it happens to you or it doesn't. Next time it happens, remember that it's a perfectly natural physical condition, is caused by your own body, is nothing to fear and will pass.

Good luck. I've never experienced it personally.

Believe in God. Keep a holy book near your bed and read it whenever you can't sleep.

BTW, there are no ghosts and demons. This is just a case of bad dreams. Probably, you have some hidden fears about life that don't come out when you are awake. So, you get bad dreams. Stop being afraid of life. It may be tough, but it is fun too. Isn't it?

hi, I believe there are some truly demonic powers in this world trying to get a foothold on anyone they can... Jesus experienced many people who were held captive by evil spirits and demons...
My advice to you would be to start reading the Bible (if you don't already) and especially read the passages that refer to the healings of those who had demons.
I would also advise for you to spend some time talking to a respected church leader and ask them (or the elders/priests) of a church to pray against those spirits in the name of Jesus and to banish them from you and your body and your dreams.
It may be a long hard process or it may be an instant miracle but I encourage you to not give up in your search for freedom and seeking of truth.
Keep an open line between you and God, he can perform miracles today just like he has done in history. Pray.
God bless.

SLEEP PARALYSIS, google it now. I have suffered for years. The phenomenon is well documented in many cultures, the neck/chest pressing is very common. As is demonic apparitions in the bedroom and sense of being paralyzed. IT IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Don't worry, you can actually coerce the dark spirits into giving you a massage if you just know how to ask nicely. I've even gotten one to pumice my bunions!
