The trinity, like the word "Christian" are just terms to help people comprehend how to get closer to (synonymous with 'understanding') how God is.
The trinity is actually never talked about in the bible. And Christians aren't talked about until near the end. This is because they aren't so much truths themselves as much as they are pointers to the truths. Jesus wasn't even a 'christian', but did he live by all the things we attribute to christians? yes. This is becuase we use that word to point us to how to be like jesus, who was a Jewish Rabbi.
The trinity is another one of those words. They never use it in the bible, but it was a word made to help people understand how God has shown himself to us. It's a 'pointing word' if you would...
I guess, I have more of an argument with the quesiton... Maybe if it was said as, "Why dont' muslims believe Jesus was God in human form".... Which the answer may be... Becuase it's hard to imagine God making himself human? Expecially after reading historic texts not included in the bible... Such as Jesus being a kid and such. I think Jesus, like God, needs a lot of faith to trust in him.

Thank you for your perseverance. In Islam this is called Sabr which means "patiently persevering." It is one of the divine qualities that is cultivated by those who practice a more contemplative daily religious practice.
In the interfaith work that I do I am asked the question you have asked many times. The simple answer is that Muslims do not believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was the son of God, nor do we belive that God had any sons or daughters. He is known as "Ruh Allah" in Islam, which means spirit of God and is considered to be a major prophet in the same vein as Abraham and Mohammed (peace be on all of them) are. Also, Islam teaches that Jesus will return. It may seem like a semantical difference, we are his creation, but not his progeny, and all of the prophets are also his creation, admittedly created for a difficult task.
Aside from the above, my answer to your original question still holds.
I hope you find peace in your faith, keep questioning and learn about the wonder of God's creation.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

The thing is friend, when non christian people already think you're crazy because of your beliefs, then everything you say will freak them out and the more you try to explain yourself, the more they will down you for your efforts. It does not matter if they accept what you say or not, what matters is that you understand your role as a christian.
So don't be amazed that others don't understand or won't accept your point of view, but let us celebrate our craziness in believing in the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Whoa, you guys. Trinity does not mean 3 in 1 in a literal sense. They are three separate beings, God the Father, Christ the Son, both having bodies of flesh and bones, and the Holy Ghost, being a Spirit so He can reside within us and confirm the truthiness (oops, Colbert came out) truthfulness of the gospel. However, they are one in purpose, works and godliness. That is why the scriptures refer to them as 3 in one.

see my post on your previous question, plz. The Bible is all about the trinity, and it proves over several times that Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one, You have a good grip on that.. People often speak of that which they donot understand.,as did mohammed. He just wanted power and he was attempting to get it using a knock off religion that reduced Jesus Son of God to a good teacher and prophet , but refused to accept His Holiness..

Again, they don't believe in it. Muhammad said very clearly that Jesus was a prophet but was not God or the son of God. What is so difficult about this that you feel compelled to ask the same question twice?
That it is 'biblical' means little to someone who believes that the book read today as the Bible is not divinely-inspired.

Not three gods, but one God in three persons is the Christian belief. "persons" is not meant "individuals" but personal self-distinctions within the divine reality. Scripture show God the Father primarily as Creator, God the Son primarily as Redeemer, and God the Holy Spirit primarily as Sanctifier. People either willfully don't understand or they just don't know the truth.

So which is it?
Father, Jesus, or Holy Spirit?
So, i understand chrs believe there is a parental system in God. (LOL!!)
Does he have to collaborate with his S0N?? With his servant??? Do God have to eat some foods like Jesus do?? Do God have some Bladder???
(more LOL!!)
No. he don't need everything. We need HIM
Christianity is just like a Greek old stories. Polytheism.
Islam is Monotheism.

I don't know about Muslims view of this, but I've always had a problem with understanding what "Holy Ghost" or "Holy Spirit" means to Catholics. I mean if you ask them to explain it you get a bunch of Orwellian double-speak.
As far as I can discern "spiritus" (Latin) and "pneumos" (Greek) should be translated as "wind." Why don't Catholic Bibles just say "Holy Wind" ?

I just one have insight regarding your question... true christianity is not about proving you are right. it is about loving and accepting first. that's what Jesus did. In the end, after you and i have truly loved those of different faiths, it is their decision to choose what to believe in. "And the world will know that you are My disciples if you love one another."
Keep busy loving.
God bless.
