first of all..I think its at least amusing the way you make these atheist asumptions based on your knowledge of the "greek
inspired scriptures " saying they are errant. . First of all, if you arent jewish of which I am then you fall for that fable that Jesus came speaking greek to jewish fisherman. That my friend is totally laughably wrong. Therefore, if you have made assuptions about anything pertaining to the greek you are automaticly wrong right out of the gate. You are riding a lame and sickly horse that needs to be shot or put out to retire. Greek makes the scriptures immediatly contradict. Jesus came speaking the same language the jewish prophets spoke. It is quite easy and available to get the NT in hebrew and or aramaic and then you will see the " errors " drift away. There is nothing more than " copy " status to any greek manuscripts. I believe: that there is no god or devil, right/wrong are the same(nothing is wrong unless you believe that it is), that there is a soul and it lives on in some "form" but they wont be punished for the way you lived, meditaion and music can open your mind

I understand that there are many people that are going to completely disagree with this and thats ok. Even if you disagree with me, I love to hear the varying view points of other religions (just don't try to convert me!). I look forward to hearing your responses ;)

-If God created the Universe and species evolve naturally on lifebearing planets, then are aliens in higher densities not interfering with God's plan by seeding planets with DNA and genetically engineering intelligent species? Where is the line drawn? Humans manipulate their world endlessly, creating artificial summers in which to live, sustaining genetically defective offspring and encouraging them to reproduce, spewing poisons into the air and waterways, and decimating species into extinction. Are they not interfering with God's plan?
If God's Universe generates intelligent, conscious species within whom incarnating spirits spark and thereafter stay whole from one incarnation to the next, then clearly we, who are here to seed planets and are in the process of genetically engineering man's next leap forward are here because this is part of God's plan.

I asked the question cuz I was wondering if God would be trying to make me humble through this new job I got where I do heavy lifting full-time. Its my first job and I was expecting part-time, but they dont have part time at that job. It pays good, but the idea of humility came into my mind when my supervisor said "suffering builds character."
