There is nothing wrong with believing what you do. People are responsible for their own actions, regardless of what they in their brainwashed state will think,
My belief is that the deity is female and male.. two parts that are there to help is we ask respectfully, and then are grateful when the help is received. Each life is a series of lessons for our souls to learn.
It's just too bad that some people are so closed-minded and brainwashed. They won't hear of anyone who has a different thought... it's sad really.

Right and wrong do exist in this universe. Morals are not simply in upbringing or popular opinion. We come across many new dilemmas daily and always, our spirit guides us in which is the right path and the wrong path. Choosing the right path however is up to us, it is called free will. but when we knowingly go against our better judgment we feel guilty and that is called conviction. Conviction is not given to us to simply make us feel bad it is to guide us in the ways that will be beneficial for us and others. The problem is however that the more we ignore that inner voice of truth the easier it becomes to do so and eventually after long periods of time while the voice has not quieted, we have become so numb to its leading that we follow any sensation that is offered to us at that instant. Like a child laughing at Elmer Fudd getting hit with a mallet, we no longer consider long term effects of our decisions but seek only to fulfill the immediate lusts of our flesh. There will come a day when we will give account for ALL of our actions and decisions good or bad, and it wont determine whether we return as a butterfly or a termite the stakes are much much greater. Since you are on this site asking these sort of questions, you are obviously unsure of what you believe so I only urge to seek with all your heart and you shall find, ask and you shall receive.

Sounds like a mix of nihilism, buddhism, and paganism...I've met others with similar beliefs....they usually just call themselves spiritual.
I agree that there isn't a god, devil, or some sort of universal right and wrong. But do think that right and wrong exist in the way that they are relative to society. It would be really hard to live in groups if we didn't agree on appropriate ways to treat each other.
Meditation and Music are both good ways of focusing thoughts, so yes, they can help open the mind if a person is willing. But, I'm probably not referring to opening the mind in the same way you are.

I believe that you are wrong! Even an atheist, Bertand Russell, said, "Unless you assume a God, the question of life's purpose is meaningless." How could you possibly think that you have the wisdom, power or love in you to judge every right or wrong? That's an awful lot of responsibility for a mere human. It scares me to think what the world would be like if every single person believed only in themselves(instead of something bigger than themselves) and looked only to their past experiences and upbringing to tell them what was right and wrong, good and evil! Many people have chaotic pasts with twisted ideas. There has to be a guide for living life and LIFE IS ALL ABOUT THE BATTLE BETWEEN GOOD(GOD) AND EVIL(DEVIL) IN EVERYTHING. I will be praying for you, God Bless!

You know, I agree with about 99% of your statement.
I do believe in God, but not as a being or an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space somewhere.
My belief is that God is the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source which is the process of life itself. Every soul is an individuation of God and together we are the sum (son) total of God (life).

I may disagree with some points, but I agree with your basic principle.
I do disagree with the part where you said that nobody will be punished. They will and it is all around us. It is called Karma. Those who go out of their way to hurt others will get theirs sooner or later, because part of being human is to seek revenge when we are wronged (or percieve to be wronged).
Those who say "It is justice and not revenge" are only fooling themselves, because they are most certainly not fooling me.

I believe that there's a higher being in this world, but we could be like him if given the right amount of knowledge and spiritual growth.
regarding the statement about right and wrong,....hmm that's hard. there may not be right or wrong, but there will be good or evil. Good and evil will prevail when there's a lack of knowledge.

Buddhists don't believe in any God that judging or punishing.
they believe in Karma. When you are doing good - you are increasing the goodness in the world. Someone might enjoy it and it will make him doing good too - by that the world will be better and you will have bigger chances to find good too.

Just curious.. what religion are you that doesn't have a God, believes it is good to murder or harm innocent people, (as long as you think its a good thing to do) And your spirit lives on as long as you listen to music?!

I do believe in God, the way that I believe is that we each have a thousand years to reach that euphoria (heaven). We have certain things to learn in each life. And if we don't learn them in the end our souls burn up.

But what if there is no God or Devil OR soul? Wouldn't that be something else? Either we all find out soon, or no one ever finds out.
