I find them "annoying" because they teach lies about our God.
JW's teach that Jesus is not God but really Michael the Archangel.
From their website: "The foremost angel, both in power and authority, is the archangel, Jesus Christ, also called Michael. Under his authority are seraphs, cherubs, and angels."
What they teach about Jesus is false.
Jesus is God. Jesus is our Lord and our Savior.

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Because my live does not need saving by anyone. Not even a Jehovah's Witness. If I find myself in need of being saved, I will
probably look further than to someone going door to door handing
out the Watchtower.

Did you ever think that people already have their OWN beliefs about being saved? That people hold to these beliefs as firmly as you do, and that having people come to their doors and try to change them is...well...annoying?
What if every week or so a Jewish person and then an atheist and then all different-denominations of Christians and then a Buddhist and then a Muslim ALL came up to your door, and they ALL thought they were saving YOUR life, even though you were certain that you were already saved? And they just kept coming, kept asking you to change your beliefs? And they weren't interested at all in hearing about what you think about life or God or being saved? Wouldn't you be annoyed? Think about that before you go out "saving lives" again.

Save my life, or change my life? Get a life! I may have been reborn at night, but it wasn't last night! At some point in your life, you're going to realize that all of your time and effort has gone to another fruitless effort to buy real estate in Israel. But by then, you will be so ashamed of your foolishness, that you won't want to talk about it. How many litltle white lies does it take to make a crime? You can demonstrate my point, when you pick a best answer. Are you really reading what people are telling you, or are you looking for affirmation from a fellow JW?

I don't know any Jehovah Witness that cares at all about saving any soul. They go door to door handing out their literature in an effort to save their own soul. The have to log in a lot of hours spreading their form of the gospel plus other goods works so they can have a chance to go to "heaven".

Im a Christian and I studied with the Jehovahs Witnesses for 6 years. What I find annoying isnt their door to door ministry, but how they claim you cant believe any doctrine that isnt specifically mentioned in the Bible ie. Jesus is cannot be God because He never said "I Am God" though there are many passages that reffer to Him as God... you cant believe it. However, believe He is Michael the Arch Angel though the Bible never comes close to saying so and you need to read a whole other book to understand the concept.
But thats just one quick example ;)

It's simple.
I was approached by several Jehovah's Witnesses a few months back. I politely told them I wasn't interested in their presentation or their literature. Remember, I was polite. I explained to them that I have my own faith and it is personal, so there was no need to go any further.
They literally followed me as I was walking off. They wouldn't let up. Finally I turned around and changed my disposition. I told them flat out to stay away from me. That's what it took to get them to leave me alone.
When people blatantly disrespect your personal beliefs and your personal space, it's not just annoying. It's down right rude.

If they are only trying to save your life, then why do they teach that you can lose that "life" otherwise known as salvation? They are not teaching the truth. The Bible teaches eternal security Romans 8:30 and " for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:25-29)
) He will not make you one of His own and then drop you when you make a mistake or "fall out of the way". He is a God of grace and mercy and love. He will never leave you or forsake you.

I am a Christian and use to have a JW come often to my house. We would sit and just talk about God. I feel that it was an opportunity to teach her the Christian perspective.
It use to be said that when a JW would come if you didn't agree they would tell you you are going to hell. I never had that experience, but my brother has had a similar experience with in his marriage to one. This isn't true of all JW's, I think just maybe confused ones that are missing the meaning of their own message. That, I think, has a lot to do with it.
I believe only someone unsure of their own faith would let this upset them, that is the different views. As a Christian, it may be my opportunity to change their mind, so patience is a virtue.

Not many people like to invite strangers into their homes unannounced first of all, second of all, if I was interested in being a jehovah's witness, I would have looked into it by now, I certainly have the means. Third and most importantly, I am not dying, my life doesn't need saved. Thanks anyway.
