We should all always thank Jesus no matter what kind of suffering we go through because of the ultimate suffering and sacrifice that Jesus made for us to save us from death and to offer us eternal life in Heaven. But above all we should always give the Lord Jesus our thanks and praise because He is all deserving of it and because He is God - Love, Justice, Truth, and Mercy itself.

When bad things happen we tend to want to find someone to blame for the lost instead of thanking Jesus for waking us up that day and being healthy enough to play any game.

because they're thanking jesus that it was his plan for them to win, and everyone likes to win!
but if they lose, they're not happy that they lost, so they probably just need to accept that it wasn't meant for them to win
