first of all..I think its at least amusing the way you make these atheist asumptions based on your knowledge of the "greek
inspired scriptures " saying they are errant. . First of all, if you arent jewish of which I am then you fall for that fable that Jesus came speaking greek to jewish fisherman. That my friend is totally laughably wrong. Therefore, if you have made assuptions about anything pertaining to the greek you are automaticly wrong right out of the gate. You are riding a lame and sickly horse that needs to be shot or put out to retire. Greek makes the scriptures immediatly contradict. Jesus came speaking the same language the jewish prophets spoke. It is quite easy and available to get the NT in hebrew and or aramaic and then you will see the " errors " drift away. There is nothing more than " copy " status to any greek manuscripts. The New testament was spoken in hebrew.Be not thou a cyber woosie and fail to read this site. http://www.beitshalom.org/articulo.aspx?c=170

Im not sure who you are directing this to but Im a Christian and I know as well as most Christians do that Jesus didnt speak Greek. There is a Hebrew NT you know?

Also the NT does not contradict the old. Thats just what everyone says who doesnt want to take the time to read it through.

true atheists know the scripture very well but notice how they always use it out of context (take only a small part of the verse and leave the rest out?) well that is because if they were to use it in context it would contradict what they are saying. You see the Bible never, ever contradicts itself. Yeah and ur right for the scripture to truly be undertood it must be read in the original language that it was written in. for example take a book that was lets say written in Russian and someone translates it into English and you are to read it in English instead of Russian you will not be albe to fully comprehend what the book is talkng about because of certain slang and other things that cannot be translated properly into another language in any way shape or form.

God forgive the rude Christian wannabes who judge the athiests by their own slanted moral outlook . Hint hint. "Judge not lest ye be judged and found wanting."

edit. the people spreading the most falsehoods are the so called christians who only follow the book of revelations, and don't bother about the rest of the book, without realizing thatrevelations has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus and christianity.

I am confused...you say a prayer, but then become extremely judgemental...are you without sin that you should cast stones????
Actually, Atheists are fine, just as Hebrews are, just as Christians, just as Wiccans, just as each & everyone. God has no preferrence in any of this, for all that He made is perfect.
Just because you & yours do not quite understand that mode of perfection is no reason to contribute to prejudice. And by the way, sin is a human configuration as well...we come to learn/teach..and so we do in many many many ways...

Um ok...so greek wasn't the original language used back then...I already knew that. Contradictions aside (I rarely refer to them anyway)....there are many other reasons I don't accept the bible as being a divine work.

You're asking God a question through the internet? Why? Did prayer fail you again?
