In everyday life, we ask ourself , why GOD is testing us?
do you fail the test or do it with all your heart?
do you think you would have your reward in heaven or you don't deserve it because you don't believe it?

Is it better to read the Bible or listen to the audio book you can buy? I, and I know this is a lame excuse, never really have time to read it, well I do but I like sitting at my comp to much. Also the few times I started reading I couldn't read half the words so I was wondering if it would be the same to listen to it.

To all those who post negative comments when people ask questions about God, go ahead it does not bother me personaly and I am sure that it does not bother others who believe in God. See God is love. So go ahead write what you feel. I pray for nothing but peace in understanding to flood your soul.
I also think that alot of those people who do post negative comments, that you do it because something about the question hits home with you. But instead of being honest with yourself ,you get offended and therefore you respond with negative remarks. Just give up the battle your the one who is suffering. I would like to try to help if anyone wants it. I have suffered many years with all kinds of personal demons from addiction to many other things. I use to be the one who said negative things about God until I had my own personal experience with God. If he can rescue me from the depths of hell he will you too!

Their reasoning are illogical.
1. Citing verses from Bible - considering that eating blood is a sin. Why are they eating meat? Even if you wash meat for hours, brush it, put it in washing machine with detergent, grind it, pound it, there will still be blood in it. you cannot, remove the blood totally 100% on a meat.
2. Blood transfusion is like eating blood since both goes to your veins or nerves. They compare it with drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol is a sin, if you inject alcohol into your veins, its just like you drink it also.

Im sorry but but I find it absurd

I personally believe there are other excellent English Translations. That does not mean that all English Translations of the Bible are good. I think the NASB and HCSB are excellent. The KJV is solid, but difficult to understand in today's English.

As a teenager, i once went on a Mexico Mission Trip. There i saw the life of a 2nd world country. Not just extreme heat, proverty, and hunger, but the extreme of desperation to live each day. I was there a week, and i thought i was going to die the day before we left. Then some1 asked, could we all leave our wonderful Seattle homes, and come down to worst than this to follow God???

Over 200 predictions and counting!
Yes the end is coming, but all human predictions are wrong!

Mathew 24:35-36 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." Jesus Christ.

Oftentimes we think that we need to do big things to please Jesus, to make Him smile. But Jesus loves detales. Sometimes a helping hand, kind words, beautiful song for God, extended prayer time etc etc...

I answer these questions mainly for the glory of God....I think He gave me a smile today to try to deal with difficult people. I pray for His wisdom to do better job though...

I am thankful for God for He saved my soul...I think He likes it...

Since religions are involved in every aspect of everybody's lives, I think we have a right to say what we think. But it seems as though religious people didn't want to read anything that goes against their views. Why is it so?

Of course, I'm talking about RESPECTFUL non-believers. I don't claim a right to insult you. But I do claim a right to say in THIS category that I don't agree and why. Don't you agree? (Please, state in your answer if you're a believer or not).
