Ok, being baptized in a Baptist church does not make you a member. Instead, it is a sign that you have become a christian and are following God's will. However, it is considered to be an ordinance of God to be baptized. So if you were not, they would have you become baptized and then join the church. If you are from another denomination, many Baptist churches will also have you be rebaptized, depending on how you were baptized. If you are not fully submersed, than you are not considered to have been baptized.
I've grown up in the Baptist churches all my life, and seen this many times.

Baptism, is just a sign. It says to the community, I am proud to be a Christian. Nothing else, if you felt like you were baptised just to part of the church, thats wrong. Baptism is a choice of yours and no one elses. Requirements to meet a church?? Wth, there arent any requirments to become a member at true Holy Churches.

The Preacher will tell you what they are, if any.
There is only ONE baptism. The Baptist church baptizes into the congregation. It has nothing to do with salvation.
I'm glad your seeking Jesus Christ.
God Bless You.

That all depends on what your local church decides. Baptism certainly was not a requiement for church membership in the Bible.

Read and study the bible yourself to see what it says about joining Christ church. You must
Hear the gospel,
Believe,
Repent,
Confess and be
Baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Don't worry so much about being a member of a church although this is good.....Worry more about accepting Jesus as your savior that is what will get you to Heaven.

It depends on your church. Every church has a different structure! Talk to someone at your church who would know, I'm sure they'll be glad to help you out.
Good luck!
