The bible does give math, their method was different than ours, I do not think we should ignore it and not even try to figure out what it means, Dan.9:24-27; this tell when Messiah will be in Rome after Babylon release, iif any one can figure it. It converts weeks to years and that would be a smart way to give a math problem.

The scripture that you quote about sums it all up.

Another good one is “Prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that you do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.” - Matthew 24:44

And another, “Keep on the watch, therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour.” - Matthew 25:13

But, with this last one in mind, it would seem to me that we're within the final few decades at best when you consider all the signs added together.

Since I am a man of science, I believe the end will happen for humans sometime maybe in the 24th or 25th century. The planet Earth will end in 4.5 trillion years when the Sun becomes a red giant. The Universe,however,will keep on expanding forever.
