I had a few people say to me that when they first met me they felt a vibe that was weird. They could be completely open with me about everything and they just met me for the first time and felt so relaxed and stress free around me. I was like really? Cool. Anybody believe in Auras? Does auras have anything to do with the Universal Laws? I don't know only thing I could say is I'm honest with myself and I'm honest with God when I pray about my problems. I make sure he knows my personality. I know that sounds crazy but the way I talk to you I pray to God the same way that I would talk...casually. Maybe that has something to do with it I don't know. Anyway, I'm getting off the subject, Anyone believe in auras?

It shows in Genesis that God had to ask where they were and ask them how they knew they were naked. Would he have already know where they were? And wouldn't he have known they were going to eat the apple? How is this all knowing? And now how did the punishment fit the crime? The snake was only possesed by the devil correct? Then why were all snakes condemed? And come on with the child birth thing! For eating some fruit for a forbidden tree! Isn't the death that he promised them enough!? Hummmm

Luke 13
6Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any. 7So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?'

8" 'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. 9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' "

"On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for is was not the season for figs. And he said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard it." (Mark 11:12-14 RSV)

And on the next day:

"As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots." (Mark 11:20 RSV)

I know this question is going to get a lot of grief from the bible thumpers out there and I would love that! Cause you are all hanging on to a big giant lie! Especially catholics. It's a bunch of idol worshipping, pathetic lies. You might as well believe a sock puppet can take away your sins. I could go on and on and on but.. well its just too pathetic that so many people believe in such crap.

I can't help but notice many nominal Christians spending a lot of time talking about fossils and Neanderthals and dinosaurs instead of talking about God, love, forgiveness, justification, redemption, etc. Creation Science seems to pay right into the Devil's hands, doesn't it?

Time to put it aside?

The wrathful, cruel, vegeful God described in many passages of the Old Testament is completely different from the all loving all forgiving God described in the New Testament and exemplified by Christs's life.

In some parts it is as bad as the Quran and opponents of Christianity use it as a weapon against it.

The OT is essentially Hebrew mythology written before Christ came and the Christian Orthodox church although retaining it in name, completely overlooks it. Is it not time for all Christian churches to treat it as such (prophetic mythology) and concentrate on the New Testament?

Jesus was never angry at sinners. He never judged them. He befriended them, and got to know them(most of them). Although he did say that no one in this world is good, he never made it personal. He always told them to go and stop living in sin AFTER he showed them compassion. By telling someone they are going to hell for whatever reason, you are judging them. That is not your place.

He said the greatest commandment is love.

Luke 6:37"Do not jusge and you will not be judged. Do not condemne and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.(38)Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Matthew 25:41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.(42)For when I was hungry you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

Disclaimer: Please read this at least 4 times, or at least read the entire question ONCE. This question was not meant to offend anyone, this question is for me (a very NON-religious person) tiring to understand another POV (Point of view), if you have a problem with that, please don't answer the question, and go watch Tom & Jerry...Or friends because I equally hate that show.

My question today since I basically have little to know knowledge of the religion I wanted to know what exactly happens to fetuses that have been aborted or miscarried, no this is an actual question, not some joke. Are they to parish in hell (if so why, if not why not?). And do alive (meaning they were born and still alive today) siblings get to met their unborn brothers and sisters someday?

In case you were wondering this question, I was just curious. My mother had an an abortion before I was born, and I've always been wondered what would happen to him/her in a religious sense.

Infirmities such as mongolism, Down syndrome, albinism, dwarfism or cancer. These mutations are presented in evolutionist textbooks as examples of "the evolutionary mechanism at work". Is a process that leaves people disabled or sick "an evolutionary mechanism"? Is not evolution supposed to produce forms that are better fitted to survive?
