Disclaimer: Please read this at least 4 times, or at least read the entire question ONCE. This question was not meant to offend anyone, this question is for me (a very NON-religious person) tiring to understand another POV (Point of view), if you have a problem with that, please don't answer the question, and go watch Tom & Jerry...Or friends because I equally hate that show.

My question today since I basically have little to know knowledge of the religion I wanted to know what exactly happens to fetuses that have been aborted or miscarried, no this is an actual question, not some joke. Are they to parish in hell (if so why, if not why not?). And do alive (meaning they were born and still alive today) siblings get to met their unborn brothers and sisters someday?

In case you were wondering this question, I was just curious. My mother had an an abortion before I was born, and I've always been wondered what would happen to him/her in a religious sense.

Um ok...? Well thanks to the link to the site that shows aborted fetuses, I've already checked it out. Its really not that shocking if you major in biology (I'm actually thininking of making biology my minor when I get into a univeristy), I'm sure it would be somewhat painful for the fetus, I know I wouldn't like to have my life ended like that

Your mother presumably did God's will by having an abortion. There is nothing in the Bible that says that what she did is wrong. And those that say that it was a sin are misleading you.
If you were religious, the answer to your question would be found in the foundations of your belief. With that in mind, it is time to form your own beliefs. You have reached the age of reason if you are able to ask the highly theoretical questions that you pose.
I suggest that you choose a religion or attend non-religious classes to explore what you believe the answer is. After all that is all that matters.
I commend your mother, she is to be honored for having the fortitude to do God's will in the face of the pro-life anti Christ movement. I hope you will support her in her decision. It is a difficult and hurtful decision.

In support of your Mother, the Bible offers------
Deuteronomy 18:20-22
20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."
21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.
Jeremiah 23:30-32
30 "Therefore," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me. 31 Yes," declares the LORD, "I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, 'The LORD declares.' 32 Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the LORD. "They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least," declares the LORD.

It is a sin for the pro-life anti Christ movement to continue to tell people that Abortion is wrong. God calls for you to be put to death for falsely presuming to speak his name in support of the pro life movement. No where in the Bible does God say that abortion is murder. In fact God uses abortion through out the Bible to bring about his will.
I can explain abortion to any person able to understand. I cannot explain it to a Dog, Cat, or closed mind.
God is the inventor of abortion. Presumably God uses miscarriage as abortion to expel from a woman's body a fetus that he chooses not to bring to term. God does this service for all animals, not just humans. And God loves these animals and man when he chooses to abort their fetus. For man, God is capable of giving eternal life in exchange for any child, fetus or man that he takes. This is his eternal love for us.
God arranged things such that no man lives longer than 150 years, then his time is up and he is also offered eternal life. So God offers eternal spiritual life in exchange for death.
And God chooses which fetuses will be aborted. God has infinite power and can choose to eliminate the possibility of abortion and force the birth of any child he chooses. He does this with other animals and he states in the Bible that he is an all powerful God. He is that powerful.
If you abort a child that God wants to live, he can simply transfer that life to another person. It does not mean that you made a wrong choice or that God must live with that Choice. I don't think God would allow Christ’s next coming to be stopped by an abortion that he condones.
Can a person commit an abortion against God's will? Yes. And it would be sin committed under our Free Will.
Evidence shows that many miscarried fetuses are malformed. And others are perfect. So we know that God does not use simply malformation as the basis for abortion. God must use other information. For example, God may know that a person is simply not ready for a child. Or the person may not be able to support a child. Or the child may have been born out of wedlock. Or that another person should raise the soul that he has placed in one person. And there are thousands of other reasons that God may have chosen abortion or miscarriage. One thing is certain; God did not choose "life". Some of us will die before birth and for none of us will live after 150 years of living.
What God teaches through abortion is that there are reasons for man to have abortion. And in the long run God teaches that these reasons make the world a better place.
I believe that a person should pray to God if there is any chance that an abortion is needed for any of the reasons above, or no reason. If God says that it is right, then it cannot be wrong. And anyone that says otherwise is going against God's will. Simply ask yourself if all humans that were ever born were still here today, would the Earth be a better place. I think not. Death is a part of God's plan and it makes his Kingdom a better place; as does eternal life for those who have served God’s purpose.
I hope that you are able to understand the need and purpose of abortion and will not fall into the beliefs of the false prophets that preach the Pro-Life anti God line.
If you have more questions please ask.

We know actually very little about questions concerning the death of infants/little children and the afterlife. Some here have posited a theory of an "age of accountability." There is however, no Scriptural basis for that argument. On the contrary, we do find Scripture (as some here have mentioned) that we are born into sin.

The only specific mention of children and their status before God is found in I Corinthians 7:14, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." As was mentioned in an earlier post, King David had the hope that he would see his dead child again, "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." in II Samuel 12:33. Even with this verse, we cannot say with certainty what happens to a stillborn, miscarried, or aborted baby.

What we must then come to is an understanding of God's character. God is absolutely good. He is the Righteous Judge. No one, when standing before His throne on Judgment Day, will be able to say to Him, "That's not fair!" All will acknowledge that His ways are just and right.

well I am going to give you the christian answer, but in some of this we do not have a bible verse that says exactly this, so we are not on the firmest of ground.
You have one that says that children go to heaven until the age of accountability..This is Jewish tradition and I do believe that, but I can not put my finger on a bible verse that exactly says it. King David's baby died and he mentioned that the baby could not come to him but that he would see the baby again. We take that to mean that the baby went to heaven and David would see him there.
Knowing God to be loving and all knowing I believe that children and unborn babies bo to heaven. They have not had a chance to sin or rebel against God and I feel that they will be in heaven. I can not put my finger on a bible verse to back that up without a doubt.
My answer about your aborted brother/sister is that if you are a christian you should see them again. But I can not say this with the authority that I would in other cases that the Bible commands.
These things are in the hands of God himself and he is a righteous and just God.. You need to trust in him and go with him in your life and I believe that all will be OK in the end..
I am trying to be honest and am taking your question as a serious one, if I can be any more help, then e-mail me..
I see that impossible dream has tried to give you a honest bible answer also. We can not really be sure even though some people here try to be..

As soon as sperm and egg have joined, that is a person. And maybe even before because every sperm is sacred and masturbation is a sin and Onan is going to hell for spilling his seed no matter whether 97% of respondents admit to doing it.
Second, all people, including fetuses or feti have sinned and come short of the glory of God and unless they accept Jesus as their savior, get baptized by being dunked fully and totally under water for at least two minutes then they haven't been baptized and I'm not talking amniotic fluids or seminal slime or anything but REAL Holy water from someone line Pat Robertson or Jerry Fallwell doing the honors.
Therefore, your sinning sibling is going to or is already in hell and since you admit to not being a religious person you too will probably go to hell.
UNLESS you don't believe in hell, then you can forget all of the above and have a nice day.

The scriptures are clear that all are sinners even when born we are born is sin. David says he was even conceived in iniquity so none go to heaven on their own or because they supposedly have not sinned yet. Because of Adams fall all are dead in sin. However that does not mean they automatically go to hell. God declares that He will have mercy on whoever He will. All deserve punishment but God is a merciful God. Bottom line is we don't know about the very young but we know God is a just God and will do what's right. As to eternity if both you and they are in heaven I would guess that yes you will meet. If that is to be the case you need to make sure you know the way there.

Children that have not come to the age of accountability, I believe go to heaven. They were never giving a chance to learn right from wrong. I do believe that you will see your brother or sister if you ask God to forgive you for your sins and go to heaven when you die. If you would like to know about abortion go to Bible Probe.com. Look down the column on the left side of page until you get to abortion. If you don't want to see what they do to those babies, don't go.

No, aborted babies do not go to hell. Christ died for the sins of the world, if the age of accountability is not reached then the sacrifice of Christ covers the child.
Once you reach the age of accountability then you are responsible for your sins.
The age differs in children, some believe up to twelve but by todays standards i have to say no. since now a days 10 yr old kids are murdering parent and siblings.

The Bible tells us that God knew us before we were knit in our mother's womb. That means that God is aware of every single person, whether aborted, still born, or alive or prevented by contraception. All children are not accountable to God until they reach enough maturity to understand the difference between right and wrong. So, unborn children that died, or was killed, or was never conceived will be considered innocent.

As much as I would like to believe that all babies and children that die go to heaven, Im affraid I cant say I am sure of it. 1 Cor 7:14 mentions children being "unclean" if born to 2 unbelieving parents, so I would have to wonder if indeed all babies that die go to Heaven. The Bible also says that God is no respecter of persons, ergo... age, race, sex or social stature mean nothing to him.

With that said, I cant condone abortion. Even if all babies DO go to Heaven, it is not our right to send them there early. But no matter how you cut it, murder is killing without just reasons, and I dont think not wanting to be pregnant is a just reason.

My faith teaches me that God is loving and merciful. A loving and merciful God wouldn't send an aborted fetus to hell because of the mother's choice. I believe those children will go to heaven through the grace of God and I think you'll probably be able to meet your sibling some day in heaven.
