God is the God of all people. I think Americans can be grateful that they have the abundance that they enjoy.

Pride is another matter and it depends on how you mean it. It is good to be a great nation, but it is also important to be a nation that seeks peace, looks after the less fortunate, and maintains ethical standards of resource sharing, justice, and care for the planet.

Im neither proud nor grateful... In a year I am moving to New Zealand because I think they have a better grip on "freedom" than the US does. Though Im glad we're not 3rd world where we have no food or clothing but as far as civilized nations go, we are laughed at and looked upon with disgust.

I would prefer to be an American above being a woman from Iran or some other country where women do not have many rights. However, if I could choose where I was located, I would probably choose somewhere in Europe because I tend to agree with their policies more. Unfortunately, my job tends to keep me in the US.

I don't think that god cares where you are from.

Is ashamed to be an American, but leave it to me to choose strawberry when the choices are only chocolate and vanilla.

Now which one would God want me to be? umm, uh...umm....pride shows devotion....pride is also a 7 deadly sin.........ummm, uh....ummm......gratefulness shows a thankfulness that can only come will knowing why you are greatful...

I think God would rather I be happy who I am, rather than where I am.

If god made the whole universe, why would he be biased to America and not some other country on Phi Obsilon Alpha Sun III (actual alien planet name unpronounceable by human tongue)?

God doesn't care which country you are from because it is we who created the countries not God. I am proud to be an American.

God created us all equal. I dont think being boastful about national origin is something God would want us to do. I think those who are keeping their mouths shut, and minding their own business are better off!
