To answer your question, allegorically, yes. Venus was the heavenly symbol of the Mother Goddess - the Queen of Heaven. There are some organizations that still worhip her behind closed doors in hidden ceremonies.

The 5-pointed star, generally called the Pentagram and associated with Satanism these days, was originally a symbol of the goddess. Followers of the goddess, as a secret symbol to identify themselves after the Catholic Church came to power and tried to eradicate the goddess cults, would offer each other an apple. If the person offered the apple cut it end to end, they were not goddess worshippers and the offerer would keep mum about his belief in the goddess. If, however, the person receiving the apple cut it around the middle, it would show they knew the secret of the goddess. When an apple is sliced this way, a five-pointed star shows in the middle of the apple. Try it and see.

Since the Catholic Church was not able to completely eradicate the goddess cults, just as they had done with other pagan rituals and ritual sites, the Church co-opted the Goddess cults by creating Mary-olotry - the worship of Jesus's mother - and they call HER the Queen of Heaven. A counterfeit replacement of the Mother Goddess cults of old.

Hm, last I heard Jupiter and Mars were ahead in the polls. Maybe you'd be better off in another area of the galaxy.

I like the songs using the name but I wouldn't worship an imaginary goddess.
