First of all my hat off to toaster pilot. He's the man.
People do good things because it makes you feel good ... just little things like holding the door open for someone, or reaching down and picking up an item that someone driopped.
I think that's why people donate blood .... because saving a life ... makes you feel good. During the summer months blood donations go down because of vacation travel .... and supplies can become critical.
So ... if you're lookin' for a way to feel really good ... Donate blood and save a life.

I do good deeds because they make me feel like I am contributing to my community. I am agnostic but firmly believe in what goes around comes around and the whole do onto others. If I expect certain services or organizations to be available to me when I am in need, then I need to do my part to make sure they can be there.
I don't expect anything but the good feeling I get inside when I'm volunteering.

Donated all of my vacation time to a co-worker who really does not like me, his wife has terminal cancer. I told our HR department not to tell him who did it. The secret must be safe....he still dislikes me.
I am an atheist so I'm not expecting a reward in heaven, I do however believe in the golden rule.
Sadly there is not enough time remaining in my life to make up for the evil I have done.

A true christian does not have an agenda, unless you call following God an agenda. I do what the Lord puts before me and am happy to do it..

i do good things because of the Love towards my Lord. I never do it because I fear God or for a place in heaven or for fear for hell. But when i do I know someday I will be rewarded by Him.

I do things because of a gift that Jesus has given me. No good thing dwells in me, it is only Jesus. I love doing good for and too people. Sometimes I cry when I really do good or help people.

You know, a person who is doing good things without a "personal agenda" probably isn't aware of it, he's just doing what comes naturally to him. And if he is aware of it, he probably isn't gonna brag about it on YA.

I have no clue what I'm doing here to be honest. But best believe, I'm trying to grab every little piece of "Heaven" on the way to where ever it is that I'm going.

first off, my good deeds are between me and my memory. if I brag about them, I'm not dis-identified anymore....
and second, I agree with the other chick. you're not supposed to be all, "okay right now I'm doing a good deed." it should just come natural.

Because I love the Lord. I don't care what others say. I care what He thinks.
