For all those against abortion. How many children have you saved from the foster care system? How many children have you taken away from their crack addicted welfare moms?

My opinion is that the only way to know God is by humbling ourselves and heartfully acknowledging that we need him to save us. Jesus was humble in washing feet, saying "The father is greater than I", etc. I think Jesus -through human nature- showed us how to live and know God. Wut do u think>?

many religious/spirtual people can agree that we're in a fallen/abnormal state. This is why we pray,meditate-nirvana,etc. inorder to reconcile ourselves with the Divine each in our own way. My question is are our works enought to satisfy God or so we need him to mercifully reach back to us through a savior>?

Read subsequent interpretations of the 1st Amendment. The SCOTUS says that they're illegal because it means that the Government is "showing favor" towards religion. So what's the deal?

I don't have a problem with it if ALL religions are represented....but everyone knows they aren't. On that same token....I don't have a problem with the 10 Commandements being shown in a courtroom if ALL other religions have representation as well. The USA is a big melting pot of different people and beliefs....it's not fair to show bias.

Why does the semitic god (christian god/yahweh/allah) say that he's a jealous god? Would it not force you to question his very being! Ideally one who is infallible, assured of his qualities would not be jealous of others. If this god is not perfect why worship him is monotheism demands perfection in the one supreme being! Can anyone give me a logical answer instead of the usual commandments that tell you not to worship other! For a change think for yourself, afterall if there is a god he gave you the brain to think.
Also don't tell me the disbelievers eyes are covered so they donot see. If you cannot debate a point logically don't just recite passages written/advised by an obviously fallible god!

And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die.

What the Bible says about Menstruation
Leviticus 15:19-30
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even. And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean. And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

Leviticus 20:18
And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

just because now its known that a body nailed to a tree wouldnt be suspended long if nailed thru the hands. , so now after centuries the religious people say ooops we made a mistake. they did have rope back then. they couldve have lashed and bound His wrists, neck, shoulders under the arm pits even, around the dogwood tree. I dont mind opinion, but to outright say yes He was nailed thru His hands then when science and others show it couldnt have been so. they outright declare it was his wrists, by subjective reasoning alone. they change their mind and the word of God.
personally it isnt important as religious leaders make it out to be. He was nailed to a tree, and for our sins. as to crosses and other religious items. anyone who has had surgery and thanked your surgeon by wearing a gold or silver scapel raise your hand ;o)
you dont thank your parents for being born. by wearing jewlery genitalia atleast i hope you dont. not a rant just a laid back spiritual observation God Bless

What the Bible says about Abortion
Abortion is not murder. A fetus is not considered a human life.

"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life." -- Exodus 21:22-23

The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old.

"And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver." -- Leviticus 27:6

Fetuses and infants less than one month old are not considered persons.

"Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD." -- Numbers 3:15-16

God sometimes approves of killing fetuses.

"Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts." -- Hosea 9:14

"Yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb." -- Hosea 9:16

"Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up." -- Hosea 13:16

God sometimes kills newborn babies to punish their parents.

"Because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die." -- 2 Samuel 12:14

God sometimes causes abortions by cursing unfaithful wives.

"The priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell. And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. ...
And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed." -- Numbers 5:21-21, 27-28

God's law sometimes requires the execution (by burning to death) of pregnant women.

"Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt." -- Genesis 38:24

Don't like it... it's like being racist with different religions. We are all individuals so why catagorize on religion as bad or what not. That's very judgemental. For example, I'm Catholic, and it bugs me when people say hurtful things about me or my religion, but then again I get over it. Still, it bugs me when people do this to other religions or athiests too, what does that accomplish people? Everyone is entlilted to their faith, it usually brings out the best in them, why destroy that? That's called force of belief, that something is wrong and never right. Please be careful what you say... don't be faithist
