For all those against abortion. How many children have you saved from the foster care system? How many children have you taken away from their crack addicted welfare moms?

Those children in the foster care system have already been born to parents who made the CHOICE not to abort the child before birth. It is the same for those who have drug addicts for parents. Believe it or not, the birth parents still have a few rights even if they are scum. It won't change the facts, or reduce the murder rate of unborn children.

Other factors are that adoption fees are outrageous. It costs Americans 2-3 times more to adopt an American child than it costs someone from another country. Supplies of children for adoption are also limited because of abortion and that also keeps toe costs too high for those who would love to have one of these children in their homes.

So, how many of these children have you adopted? Maybe a better question is how many have you killed?

i get what you're saying....if the mother cant take care of the baby and doesnt get an abortion, then she must give it up for adoption/ foster care. if i say that i'm prolife, and want that child to be placed for adoption, then i should also support that by offering a home to such children so that all the babies allowed to live have somewhere to go. I agree with this. I am only 22 and am single, but i fully plan on having 5 kids someday, all of them adopted. I know a few friends who also are considering adopting a child or two in addition to their own.

If one is against abortion, that is their choice.
And vice verca.
The end will be what it will be.
Really, it has never been an abortion issue.
The real issue is unwanted pregnancy.
If one does not want to have children, yet wants to have relations,
the responsible thing to do is take the necessary precautions.
Not doing so might bring unseen and unnecessary grief on the person who decides to abort.
All that said, it is still the individuals choice.
No one can force another to comply with their beliefs.
So why should anyone who opposes adopt someone elses unwanted child? because you think you have a valid point?
REEEAALLLY!!!!!!!!!!!11
This is such a lame attack.
Conversely, why should there be limits on abortion?
Why not also terminate the unwanted elderly?, the retarded?,
the ugly? Why stop with fetuses?
How about the depressed?
How many people have the pro abortionists killed?
Hey! How about killing prisoners?
Foreigners?
Anybody I don't like?
Is this getting ludicris enough?
Does anybody get it?
I hope the horse is down.
Yet, I know it isn't.
Tomorrow, someone will ask the same Q.
Oh yeah, where in the Bible does it say I have to adopt your expression of irresponsibility?
It doesn't.
It just occurred to me, how many dead fetuses are in your personal collection?

My husband and I live in what you would call a middle class neighborhood in Massachusetts. We have been here for 30 years. We have raised our own two kids.
In the lives of our children and our neighbors children we are one of only 2 family's who did not suffer divorce.
Because of that we did not lock our front door.
We never knew who would get caught between battling parents, drunk parents or a call from the police.
We have set up cots, couches, bunk beds, and food and warm clothes for years for the frightened child to come to.
When my own kids went to Jr. and High school, they knew if a kid was in trouble, they could invite that child home for a temporary refuge.
I don't know if I "SAVED" any one, but, I gave love when I could, guidance when I could. And a shower and a bed when needed.
I truly believe every child is a gift from God. My sister and my parents, both being more affluent than I have taken foster and adoptive children in. Now I have a brother and a nephew nd two nieces that were gifts from God also.
I have done the best as my finances allowed.
Just don't ask about all the lost puppy's, kittens, ferrets and, occasional goat and dove, it gets a little weird at that point! Every one in need is welcome here. Bugsie

I have raised two girls, 1/2 sisters, (birth - 7 & 8 respectively) and a boy (12-18)with no financial assistance and would care for or adopt any in a heart beat. There's not one that I would see aborted if given the chance to love and nurture it. As I have found in the past if God places a child in my home he also provides the way to maintain it.

I am against abortion. I am also against unprotected sex with someone whom you do not want to have a child with, and I am also against having children when you can't afford them. It's just plain irresponsible.

There are too many people in the world right now. Does that mean we should kill off a few of them? I sure don't think so!

I will not have children. If I become financially stable and am still young enough, I will adopt.

None. I have 3 children of my own, and a small house. If I were married to a man who would be supportive, I would adopt several. I have friends whose biological children are now adults. This couple started out a few years ago as foster parents. They adopted a baby boy with many problems due to his mother's neglect and prenatal drug use. Now they are in the process of adopting 4 sisters, one of whom is autistic.

So...we should kill all those people who are in comas as well...cause NO ONE has ever awaken from one!

How does that EVER change the fact that you are still killing a life?

Even if you're life stinks...does that mean that you should never have been born to see the beauty that is earth...the magnificent aromas and bright colors we see...the wonderful animals...and all the good people we DO get to meet?

We all have to carry our own burdens...but we make it through...some are able to find their way out...they have the will...they choose to move on...and LOOK for opportunities in life...those who stay and rot...are making the choice of rejecting the life that was given to them...the one that could've been lost if their mothers HAD aborted.

Everyone should have their own chance at life...

I have custody of my nephew because his parents are both drug addicts and constantly doing things that hurt not only themselves but the children as well. I wish I could adopt him but we can not do that because his parents rights have not been terminated yet. But I am against abortions. It is just wrong to do that.

as a matter of fact, my family has taken care of 12 children over the past 5 years.
but the fact that some people don't take care of these children doesn't justify abortion. one sin can't cancel out another.
