still believe in the saying, "there are no atheist in fox holes." when you say this you are just lying to yourself, and you are dishonoring the sacrifice these brave men and women made for this country and your freedom.

It seems to be saying that Jesus and John believed that Jesus was the only way to be saved, to make it to heaven and that no other belief, religion or person except Jesus provided a way to heaven.

It seems to say that Jesus and Paul believe that once saved always saved. As show in John 6:39 and Phillippians 1:6.

Do you find yourself free from the matrix prison theocracy of religion, and wanting to fight for the minds of your brothers who are slaves to their religion? Is that why you come to yahoo answers? To free their minds from the prison.

They who empty their pockets, like in the film, whose energy is used for the machines, their dollars used for pastor's cadillac!

It seems to say that Jesus does not pray for the whole world's (every person) salvation but only for those (elect) the father has given him from out of the whole world of other people. as in John 6:37-40, 44, 65 seem to say that the Father does not give everyone, all people to the son to raise up and not be lost, but only some out of all the people in the world.

I was married to a non-catholic and we got divorced. I am going to get remarried to a catholic and we would like to get married by a priest but I was told I would need an annullment of my previous marriage (not told that by a priest but by others). How does one go about getting an annullment through the church?

I don't JUST mean Christianity; and I don't necessarily mean specific religions; I mean putting others down for anything they believe, trying to change them as people, as if to say, "God? That's stupid!" that you've accomplished something; or if to say, "REPENT!!! Accept Jesus!!!" or "Peace be to God, Allah, the Almighty, the most Benevolent" you're going to change someone to follow what you believe. I just want to know what the purpose is of doing that; it really bothers me, and it shows me how many idiots there are in the world--A question I can answer myself.

As many stars as there are in the sky.

And I understand the irony of me asking this, but I'm not trying to change people's beliefs; I just want to know why push anything? What's the point? Some empty words aren't going to change someone.

Do you want to understand? The whole world is one of your eyes, the body produced by your parents is a cataract. All ordinary people ignore the indestructible, marvelously clear, unfailingly mirroring eye, and cling fast to the dust cataract produced by the relationship of their father and mother. Therefore they take illusions for realities, and grasp at reflections as the physical forms themselves.

And I want more of an explination then "Because its witchcraft". Many Disney stories deal with "witchcraft" and I don't see you attacking good old Walt. I'm a Christian, and I plan on allowing my children to read childrens books like "Harry Potter", and watch Childrens movies like "The Wizard of Oz", and "Snow White". If I see them playing around and casting spells on other children, then I'll talk to them about it...Its called parenting, not sheltering.

1. If you confess your sin and ask for salvation on the stairway to heaven - will Peter "let you through"?

2. Are there sins that are too large to be forgiven?

3. If no, will this go for anyone, or do you think there will be any discrimination?

I recently moved to Egypt. I love it here. Yeah there is alot of bad stuff here, but at least they don't treat me like I am from Mars. They understand me and respect me. And I would say the good out weighs the bad by far. If you have made hijrah to how is it for you?

I will make this comment correct me if I am wrong. When you were born you just accepted your life with no questions asked. That is purity. Now you are adult and jumping to all kinds of conclusions that in all cases you eventually discover were not accurate.
