Dinosaurs were not mentioned in the Bible. They were to believed (by christian scientist) to of been around, after the fall of Lucifer. Some say that the book of Genesis aludes to a second creation of Earth, as the creation account is told twice. After the second creation (found in Genesis chapter 2) man came into the picture.

The two accounts of creation is a troubling aspect of the Genesis story and not all christians believe in this.

But the story of the creation could not be a first hand telling of the story, it is believed to be true but even Bible scholars think that is was only a story that was passed down to give a lesson about who God was and how we got here. The actual story of the creation may or may not of happened exactly the way that it was stated.

This is not to take away from the account of the creation, as some believe that the creation occured word for word what the Bible says. But there is the troubling fact of the repeat telling of the creation. It is not sure why it made print that way. Logically no man could of seen the creation, and mans understanding of things were very limited during the time of Moses (which Genesis was believed to of been written), so God could of told the creation account in a way that was easily understood for early man.

Dinosaurs existance however does not mean that creation did not happen or the Bible is not right. But it does mean that the Bible does not give facts about the natural history of the Earth only a very general outline.

The Bible purpose was to give a history of the Jewish people and their faith, as well (an more importantly) an account of Jesus and his teachings.

Personally, I think that the story of the creation was not intended to be factual but just a very general outline. I think that there was a time of Dinosaurs but my faith is not based on how accurate the Bible was about the creation as I see it not being for that purpose. Its purpose is to preserve the Christian belief and help christians understand what Jesus was about. And dinosaurs have very little to do with Jesus I am afraid.

Although great beasts are mentioned prior to the flood (Book of Genesis) there is no specific mention at all in the Bible of Dinosaurs. This and a few other discrepancies are why creationism on its own does not stand up to scrutiny. Also, given that science has conclusively proven time and again that man was not around for the Dinos, it makes sense that they would not be mentioned.

The Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs because they were not discovered until after it was written....yet MORE proof that the Bible is a work of fiction written by man. Although, I once saw some nutty televangelist claim that Noah had dinosaur eggs on the ark...LMAO! Study science and you will see that most of the claims made in the Bible are unreal. Religion is a manmade concept.

First, "dinosaur" is a fairly recent invention. The word was descriptive of the fossils being systematically studied a couple of centuries ago, especially after Darwin's book became the Mein Kamp of atheists everywhere.

Second, we have passages like:
"Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook?" Job 41:1
"Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness" Psalm 74:14 or, perhaps more descriptively, likely a whale,
"There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein." Psalm 104:26

Commonly, when Christians or Jews see passages like "And God made the beast of the earth after his kind" in Genesis 1:25 and elsewhere, they sort of figure it as inclusive. There also is that place in the New Testament, Hebrews 11:3, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear", and that sort of makes it like God planted something to test our faith which may or may not be what it looks like. This sort of goes along with Proverbs 25:2, "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."

You have to remember, the Bible is not a science book, though it does contain some science, and it is not a history book, but it does contain history. You've got to read it for what it is, not what it isn't.

Bible doesn't say dinosaur, but I think this fits the description

Job 40

15 "Look at the behemoth, [a]
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.

16 What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!

17 His tail [b] sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.

18 His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron.

19 He ranks first among the works of God,
yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.

20 The hills bring him their produce,
and all the wild animals play nearby.

21 Under the lotus plants he lies,
hidden among the reeds in the marsh.

22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow;
the poplars by the stream surround him.

23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed;
he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.

24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes, [c]
or trap him and pierce his nose?

Sounds like dinosaur to me . . sounds bigger than a hippo or elephant.

The only mention of anything close is the term "Leviathan", which was a sea monster, and "behemoth", a giant grass-eating land animal.

Scholars believe Leviathan was a whale or giant squid, but there isn't any proof that is what Leviathan meant. See Job 3:8, 41:1, Psalm 74:14 for references.

Job 40:15 lists the word "behemoth", which was a giant grass-eating animal with a tail like a cedar trunk, and bones like tubes of bronze.

There are at least two: Leviathan and Behemoth.

Some scholars say that behemoth was an elephant or hippo, but the descreption sounds a lot more like a brontosaurus to me. Leviathan may have been a T-Rex or other "dinosaur" or such.

Of course, this is speculation and my interpretation.

There are no dinosaurs mentioned. But there are commentaries which say that at the time of the flood, there were animals that did not make it on due to size

Where are penut butter and jelly sandwiches mentioned in the Bible? It doesn't include all there ever was and will be; it would be huge. Though, dinosaurs might be in there, I seem to remember something like that.
