My "religion" allows for free will. I can make all of my choices knowing what the consequences are. An open mind would allow anyone to see that not every pastor owns a Cadillac. Some own a Toyota, a Pontiac, a Ford or a Chevy etc. and live a simple, modest lifestyle. Yes, there are those churches out there that take advantage of the combined wealth of its parishioners/members (among other poor decisions), but that is the choice they both make...to give and to take. Those choices will lead to consequences beyond our control. I applaud you for your observation and agree that people should be held accountable, but I feel their (and my) mistakes will be revealed in due time. (See attached reference) I also feel that my God is a forgiving God and understands that we are human and freely choose to make those mistakes....but that is because we choose to not follow His teachings. I do not consider myself to be a slave to my religion when I Willfully choose to live my life according to Biblical principles. Thank you, you have inspired me.
