Yes, there actually is a "God Spot" in the brain. Epileptics with frequent seizures tend to be highly religious. The seizure itself stimulates the area of the brain in the temporal lobe that gives hallucinations spiritual meaning................Oh, that wasn't a person it was an angel. It is also stimulated by prayer, meditation, and electromagnetic fields. ( Could this explain some ghost sightings.)
Then there is also the possibility that God just doesn't like me. Obviously he's a big Kurt Warner fan because he always talks to him. Nah, Its just in the brain. I would foster another notion if anyone can postulate a better theory.

First, I have my own experiences as a near death survivor.

Second, I have the many testimonies of former atheists who went out to disprove God and ended up becoming Christians. Lee Strobel, Josh McDowell, Robert Jastrow, Fred Heeren have written a good number of books on this subject. One only has to read them to understand this issue.

Third, I have archaeological evidences. There are 5366 references of the Bible's authenticity; many of which are outside of the scope of the Bible. The Bible is widely used as the source book of many archaeologists when probing their discoveries. Go to www.biblicalarchaeology.com (or org??). They are mostly Jewish with a balanced view from both secular and Christian perceptions and opinions. They have a magazine which I find highly interesting.

Fourth, I have biophysicist Michael Behe; a self proclaimed agnostic who has written "Darwin's Black Box". He defies evolutionary concepts using modern methods of scientific discovery. There is also William Dembski who has written a number of books on this subject as well. William by the way... was also an atheist at one time.

The evidence is out there folks... if you will be willing to do your homework. I did... and I am convinced there is a God.

I disagree. I think that God is something that people created to help them cope with an unexplainable world. Like the mythological gods of Greece. Not out of natural causes, like personality and consciousness, but out of fear.

People have invented dieties for as long as our records go back, and probably before. The human condition is a need a believe that life is not pointless, it's the curse of intellegence. Some believe that they belong to a greater good to give their life meaning, whether that is religion, a peace movement, whatever.

Matter generates nothing. Consciousness forms matter. Mind is the activating agent of Spirit, eternally creating, and its creations in turn creating, and projecting simple images of physicality, and/or non-physicality, as a child might form imaginary friends...thus, we make our own reality, in ego/physical terms. There is no other rule.
