I have asked this question on the singles section and got the same "marriage is a serious thing" answer. I think sex is a serious thing too. I am looking for a man to spend ,my life with (I am 40 with a teenage daughter) and it seems like men don't want committment. I have been told never mention marriage to someone early in a relatinshiip but it is odd that a man will mention sex on the first email correspondence. I get advice like don't bring up marriage for at least a year after starting to date, fine I say but then don't bring up sex until then either. Uh Oh that get's them because they say sex isn't as serious a thing! Gee i have gotten involved sexually with guys in the past and found myself getting serious about them as we females tend to do and also what about the diseases out there. If a guy marries the wrong woman, he can get divorced because after all he has few morals to begin with so he isn't that opposed to divorce in itself only the financial costs to him.

Yep, there is no one else!! Jesus performed over 300 miracles. Calmed the storm, cured the blind, etc. Isn't that enough for you non-believers to put your faith in Jesus Christ? I mean stop being so ignorant of his power. If I recall buddha, mohammad, etc. couldn't do what he did. Jesus definitely has an edge. Josephus, a Jewish Historian (a.d 38-100) and roman historian Cornelius tacitus (a.d.55-120)are some who support new testament claims.

I think some people must actually think that, because of all of the God butt-kissing that goes on here.

I've heard similar stories from born-again types: "I used to be a junkie, but then I found Jesus" and "I found God in the bottom of a bottle" and so on.

It seems that sometimes it's just trading one addiction for another. I said sometimes, I know this is rare only applies to a few Christians (so don't yell at me) but I've seen people with addictive personalities "find God" and get hooked and can't help but notice the simillarity between using and being saved.

Anyone else notice this?

fact 1 : the knowledge of the word circle is at least 9000 years old
fact 2 : glue is at least 7000 years old
fact 3 : the earth is 6000 years old, and created by God

Is it possible that God used the two human inventions/creations (glue and the world circle) and with that he build planet earth 6000 years ago ?

B) i hope my faith is the full Truth
C) i seriously doubt if i know the Truth
D) i am still searching for the Truth, but haven't found it yet

Ask any guy if they love another man and they'll say NO, I aint gay! But a lot of men go to church. But probably just so their wives will shut up about it.

so many put their "faith" in what science reveals. Yet, it is always changing as new discoveries are made. Therefore, science is not absolute. Yet, the Bible has remained unchanged for 2000 years. It is absolute. In the end who are you going to trust... man (liar, blinded by sin) or God's Word (perfect, Just, and the truth)?

I want to change my attitude, my point of view of life, the way i think, and my general outlook.. i am tired of disapointing My Father and myself...
