What makes you proud to be a Muslim? How does Islam effect your life? Is there ever thought of leaving Islam?

For me, I love is being a Muslim. I have a purpose in life that I never had before I took my shahadah. Islam totally changed my life for the better. My days now are filled with love and appreciation for Allah and life, instead of love and appreciation for who I could take home for the night. Alhudmillah Allah lead me to this religion and I could never leave it.

I am a Catholic, but I have alot of friends who are non catholic, and that is very fine by me. I attend service at their church when invited, and do the same. I have been engaging in an online bible study (WBS) and they insist on baptism by immersion. I enjoy the bible study as it helps me in my knowledge about the Word, but how do I continue without being pressurized into a second baptism? Why dont we immerse in the Catholic church? It would save us some criticism. Finally, is there anything wrong with a Catholic wanting to be baptized a SECOND time in the Catholic church, out of nothing else but to show a true sense of repentance?

I already know who she was, the daughter (may Allah be pleased with her) of The Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). I want to know what the name means, where it originated from, what the root word is, etc.

I believe that baptism is common to Christianity, Judaism and Islam, and that all three would probably see it as pointing back to Abraham crossing the Euphrates as he made his way from Ur to the promised land and later, of Moses leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt and across the Red Sea.

Could you please explain what role it plays in your belief system?
When and why does it takes place?
Do you have debates about baptismal regeneration in your religion?

No replies from Christians please.

An indication of your school of thought/teaching would be appreciated.

I know that our dreams come from our subconscious, but how do we stop dreaming something we don't want to dream? It is not a nightmare, just a dream. Does satan influence our dreams in hope that we might sin?

......do people only seem to care when rich (mainly) white people die. The reaction and news coverage of that terrible day was incredible.

The thing is on that same day 3000 people in Africa died of hunger and disease and 3000 have died every day since.

Do you see blanket news coverage of this on TV and people far away crying over it ? No .

Are these lives not as important as rich western lives ?

For instance, lets say I ask my higher self to let me dream about someone in particular. If I do, did that person also dream about me? Do you believe it's possible to actually meet up with someone in a dream and exchange messages?

The Brhadaranyaka Upanishad, 5.5 says,
"You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny."

So what is YOUR deep driving desire?

I love Jesus Christ, and respect those who believed in him and followed him and kept his teachings. but.. I wonder, Did he actually teach people to believe in him being God? I still could not find a verse where it shows him, in his own words, saying I am God, worship me, or pray to me, or ask me forgiveness or any of that, rather I found a couple of verses, that show him being a man, like in Acts 2:22, being a prophet like in Matthew 13:57, so, how do you respond to this? I am not trying to make fun of you guys or any of that, I am just wondering, do you guys even care if what you believe in is wrong? do not say you are so sure about your beliefs because only stupid ones say so.. because being humble for a unstable, unclear, fuzzy faith is stupdity.. no offense.. it is the truth... [instead of attacking my person and Islam, please answer my question first, thanks..]
