What is that, by knowing which, all else becomes known?

This question was asked by Shaunaka in the Mundaka Upanishad. I thought it may make for some interesting reflection.

The fear of God is how "that" was described in traditional scripture, somehow, I feel this notion doesnt translate to English very well as those I meet who, I feel, do demonstrate an appreciation of this concept, generally overcome the daily distractions and insecurities that manifest in our lives due to the destructive forces of fear.
The ability to master this "concept", in my eyes, presents us with an understanding of all knowledge that is truly of value, in a higher sense, both to oneself and humanity as a whole.
If you wish to pursue useless knowledge there are plenty of man made faculties in which to do so, but dont be suprised if you emerge from these types of study as one crippled by fear.

Knowing God.

Once I didn't believe in Him and I was blind. Now that I know Him, I see everything differently. I see HIm in every aspect of my life.

I also know who I really am. I didn't know that before I knew God.

Knowing truth, not fact, but truth, truth that is and can only come from God.

the borders of our universe.

if we know where our universe stops, we might see the outside of it. when we see the outside, we can figure out what created us, or how we were made or build.
when we know that, we can figure out why we exist.
when we know why we exist, we can also figure out how we exist. when we figure out how we exist, we can also figure out every problem that comes with that existence.
