What's the cutoff to get to heaven? What if you are new to Answers and you die before you get enough points? Will you go to hell?

"Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, did we not have many Yahoo Answers points in your name, and in your name did we not we not have avatars and cast out the default settings?' And I will say to them, 'Away with you, for I never knew you.' And they shall be cast into outer darkness, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth...or, if you don't have any teeth, rubbing of gums."

No, no, no, sanstheism, my friend, you've got it all wrong. In fact the seven levels of Yahoo! Answers correspond to the circles of hell as envisioned by Dante in 'The Divine Comedy'. For example, I am presently at level 5, which means I have descended to the fifth circle of hell, alongside the wrathful (wrathpuppet is here), the sullen and the slothful. If I can get 2,295 points more (wanna help me out there?), I will descend to the sixth circle of hell, among the heretics... Ah, my home at last!

Way down in the seventh circle of hell, we can spot Richard, Kevin and Jane Furrows among the blasphemers, sodomites, usurers and sottish (no offense, guys)... God punishes those who spend too much time on Y!A with worse and worse forms of torture.

Yes, but there are nine circles of hell, I hear you saying. Well, the eighth circle of hell is reserved exclusively for Yahoo! Answerers administrators, the Yamster(TM), Donald Trump and Deepak Chopra. What's in the ninth circle of hell? Be the first to find out!

Whatever the cutoff is, it will change to something higher just before you get there!

Isn't that how the law works? You think you can be good enough, but you never will be.

(that is why we are really all equally loved no matter how many points we have. They are just there for your own lustful ego to enjoy on earth. )

You have more points than me ?! Rrrr, I'm gonna get you...........

I sincerely doubt it regarding points BUT (Especially after some of the answers I've seen here - points won't matter, but content will, I know I wouldn't want to be judged according to some of the blasphemy I've seen here in YA)

No I don't think our points have anything to do with getting past those pearly gates.

However, I think our avatars might play an important role in winning favor with our Creator. Those people with the default smiley faces better atone for their sins ASAP. :)
