so many put their "faith" in what science reveals. Yet, it is always changing as new discoveries are made. Therefore, science is not absolute. Yet, the Bible has remained unchanged for 2000 years. It is absolute. In the end who are you going to trust... man (liar, blinded by sin) or God's Word (perfect, Just, and the truth)?

The Da Vinci Code mentions Paris and a Louvre museum and they happen to exist. Does that mean the whole Da Vinci Code is true? According to your "logic", it seems so.

Troy has been found. Does that mean the greek gods exist?

Chichen Itza was found too, should we offer maidens to Kukulkan? When is Kukulkan second coming? It was predicted he'd do so.

You can't prove the miracles happened.

"Yet, the Bible has remained unchanged for 2000 years."

Really? Well what about all the different Gospels out there like Phillips' and Mary Magdeline's own Gospel? Why weren't those ever included in the church's teachings?

Science has, in theory, a logical explanation for almost everything, actually far beyond the Bible or any religion for that matter. I've heard several quotes about this and have examined the Bible and it's citations very carefully and have come to the conclusion that if you were a strict believer in it then you would believe the Earth was made simply 10,000 years ago or right around when modern civilization began. Well what about the fossils that archaeologists found dating back 3.4 billion years on Earth? Is God trying to be deceptive to us and mislead us? Probably not, but obviously you don't care about this since your position is rather too clear for a blind man.

For any other questions you may have, please refer to my best answer on the question "What is more believable, that there is no God or there is no spoon?"

Maybe you are right. However, suppose you are not.

Yes, science is always changing because the intelligence of human beings continues to reach new heights. Science is absolute to a certain extent because it can be physically proven. Cold, hard facts right there.

You say the Bible has remained unchanged for 2000 years. How do you know that? Are you so sure that you would bet your life on it? What if it had been changed? What would you do when you found that out?

How do you know the Bible is positively, without a doubt, absolutely, God's Word? The reason you believe God's word is perfect, just, and the truth is because you've been told it is. When you were born, you did not "follow God" because you did not know of Him or His teachings. Your parents are the cause of that. Who taught your parents to believe? Their parents, most likely. You can continue this for as long as you want. It is always man teaching man to believe. A man had a "revelation" about God in order to create this religion. This man had to have been "told by God" what to preach to his followers. He then preached it and man believed him. Man trusted him.

If you think about it, whether you side with science, the Bible, or any other thing, you are putting trust in man.

You probably won't read this or agree with it if you did, but if for just one second you could possibly be slightly open-minded and consider my response, you may see that I am not entirely wrong.

Well science is exact, take for instance Mathematic, it's called the exact sciences. You have a mathematical question and you have a proven answer.
Other sciences most are exact, but relative unconclusive, because many discoveries are comming to light every day.
The Bible has changed many times, every time the council of the vaticane had had the need, they had, add or erase information.
And besides there are many bibles, different religions has interpreted the books differently and compiled in their own version of their bible.
Just in the translation, a lot of information was lost and changed, because lenguages, and cultures are so diverse that they interpreted the Biblie to the best of their knowledge.
There are many places and instances in the Bible that can't be reconcile with History Records. The very first exemple will be the four rivers in the Genesis. There are only two in existence and no proof of the other two ever existed.
The greatest of all is the big flood, no record in history or in arquelogy, or geology.
But remember there is no "Absolute True" and there are no absolute answers either.
The human is a creature that for nature adjust to its suroundings. So saying that, I will conclude with my relative answer. Science can't proof or disproof the existence of God,
but niether the Bible can>

Yet, Isn't it funny that we have all the scriptures telling us about the Egyptian book of the dead and the book of the living--- and no scriptures on any bible?... There are many writers of the bible... many versions... many interpretations. You can prove certain people exist... like Jesus and Moses... but you cannot physically prove God nor can you prove that the Arc happened. Nor that the Virgin Mary was truly a virgin. You have beliefs that you constantly call true... yet you do not have physical proof. New discoveries come with new technologies... and prove the Evolutionary Theory more by the day... yes, science cannot answer everything. But God, is not the answer to everything either. Man wrote the Bible... are you calling it a Lie, Blinded by Sin? God didn't write the Bible... people wrote God's words for him... which means, it could very well be fictional beliefs.

The bible is certainly not a myth. But it was written by man. It was passed down verbally and scribed more than once. I will never admit that it is the perfect word of God. There are too many men using God for their own excuses. You cannot read the Old Testament and think that a loving God would condone those things.

God did not just create the universe, He is it. He is science, He can evolve in any way He wishes. Either humans came to be just like that or over a million years. Either way, it is still God, no matter what the bible says.

I don't believe in the Bible, it's just a bunch of stories ppl makes up, it was unchange because they don't know the real truth, facts about the stories. The Bible can be view as a collection of fictional works. Science, however, explains the reasons throughly. It did not just say something happened because god made it happened, it is experimental. It keep changing because human keep changing the world keep changing.
Example: Global Warming
Science provides many solutions and answers to questions that were ask about global warming
Can God answer that question? No, because god doesn't exist, if god did, there will be no scientist left on earth. Why would god want to leave scientist on earth when their job is to prove god is not real? Because there is no god.

I think you are confusing some things. Faith is what is necessary to access that which is unprovable. Science is simply the investigation and communication concerning the creation. In fact, you might say science is one of the few jobs endorsed by God before the expulsion from the garden. Try

Genesis 2:19
And out of the ground Jehovah God formed every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them: and whatsoever the man called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

The first instance of taxonomy. Hey, Adam was doing science before Eve arrived! Now, if you are commenting on controversial issues that arise from the conflict between scientific evidence and a literalistic interpretation, that is a problem. How do you know that the Bible has remained unchanged for 2000 years? From scholars? Anthropologist and linguists? Do you have the same distrust of them?

And as for things that are unchanged, magnetic deviations on seafloor spreading zones date back millions of years. Every night, light from stars shines on you, light that has been traveling for billions of years unchanged. We don't need faith to recognize this, just use the brain God gifted us with. Let your faith be exercised on things that enhance life, don't use your faith to disbelieve reality.

You have to remeber that the bible is God's word documented by the apostles, which are human. So there is the rub. Have you ever played the game telephone, when you get to the last person the story has changed. So remeber that because man is blinded by sin and words can be interpreted differently. I believer that is an underlying truth, the flaw is perception. If perception was uniform and generalized there would be no problem? But it is not so ther is the problem.

the bible has changed in two thousand years. how many versions of the bible are there? Also, before the printing press, they were hand written by monks. Since they were hand written, lines can change. It was believed that Moses had horns on his forehead because a monk who translated the bible from aramaic to latin, didn't use the right translation. also, there are many books that have been written for the bible that have not been included, such as the one regarding the rose of sharon. The bible is not absolute. What makes the bible different from the Torah or the Koran?
