Elliot and Derek make some good points for consideration.
Let me add my opinion, which is what we all do, of course.
As I understand the two phrases, each pertains to a different aspect of religious faith or practice....observing the natural and miraculous we tend to give God credit for both the possible and the impossible, and I would agree with that.
On the other hand, saying that the "only way to GOD is Jesus", is peculiarly Christian doctrine, as all religions will have a differing belief about how to gain heaven or enter into a spiritual relationship. Christianity advertises, and propagandizes in behalf of the Fictional character, Jesus, because they pin hope on a savior man-god diety for intermediary relationship, which stems from the Christian teaching of Original Sin, needing therefore a Between GOD and man bridge...which rejects the Original Source Text, (OT< or Torah) which GOD gave Israel and Moses, to show the Mind of GOD for the restoration of humanity to God relationship. IF a person figures out the Truth by study, that is good. IF a person figures out the truth by observing nature, that is also good. If a person figures out the truth by study of human anatomy, or atomic sub particles,,,that is also good,,,and thus all may discover the truth in a personal fashion. But to say, the only way to God is through a Fictional character, supported by mistranslation, fabrications, and plagiarism of pagan cult practices, (ie, vampire cult blood drinking and ghoulish dead human body eating)...thats really unfortunate, because the TORAH does not support such abomination. Sincerely

The very words "with God" imply that God needs to help you in accomplishing something otherwise impossible. God will not help anyone to do something incredible if it would mean going against His own nature. God said about Jesus, "This is my Son whom I love. Listen to Him." And Jesus said that no one comes to the Father except through him. And he said that the reason he came to earth was to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Jesus didn't die on a cross so he could be a possible option as a savior to people. If that was the case, why would God have had him do that? He died because atonement for our sins was needed.

God's name is Jehovah which means "He who causes to become" so all things are possible with God, he is the creator. Jesus is his first creation. Jesus had a beginning, he was created. Jehovah God did not. They are not equal. Phil 2:6 Jesus is not equal to God. The word trinity is not bible based. It is not found anywhere in the bible. It is a teaching from Babylon.

The reason the only way to God is "through" Jesus is because of the original sin. Jehovah sent his first creation to earth to be a perfect man to teach us what it is to love his father, be faithful and how to act. It is only through him that we approach God in prayer. Jesus now sits at his right hand. God has given him Kingship of the Kingdom we all pray will hurry and rule the earth...you know...Let you kingdom come, let your will be done here on earth...Jesus has a role to fill and a job to do. He is doing it. After Armageddon and at the end of Christ millennial reign (the 1000 yrs of peace that the teaching and cleansing work is done) he will present us to God as perfect beings once again able to approach Jehovah God directly as Adam was able to do. Jesus' work will be completed. We will be perfect beings in paradise conditions just as God had purposed for the earth from the beginning. God can not lie and his purpose for humans never changed.

God and Jesus are the same - as in the Holy Trinity 3 in 1 Father, Son and Holy Spirit

First, Go and see the Da Vinci Code, even better read the book. In the fullest sense it is true... all things with God are possible. But don't expect miracles because of this. Rather, understand that God as we know being "the Creator" made all things possible. God is all that IS and that IS NOT, meaning everything!. It is difficult with a christian background to see how God and the Universe as well as you and me, are all part of /and the same thing. Jesus tried to convey this, but after 2 thousand years of editing his message is somehow garbled. But if you read the new testament (not literally) you can catch some the drift of his message. So its partly true, Jesus does show us a way to understand (know) God. To finish, please try and read Neale Walsch's "Conversations with God". You see He is still talking to us (God that is), and trying to get us to understand who He/She is, and who we are.

Yes, this is true. God can do anything, but make you do what you do not will to do. Ex: He will not make you Holy if you do not or are not trying to be Holy. God has said that the only way for us to come to Him is through His Son. You see, in the beginning when Adam, and Eve were created, they had direct access to God, but when the disobeyed Him they cut themselves ( and also all of their decedents ) off form Him. We are cut off because they could not pass down what they did not posses. God in His mercy gave us another way to come unto Him, and only one way that we might be able to have a new trial, this time it is a personal one, that is why He gave us His Son. That through Him we might have salvation. That's through Him, not in Him. The salvation still comes from God, after all it is His commandments that we break. I know Jesus called them His commandments too, but if you dad owns a house, and you live there too, don't you call it 'my house'? Of course you do. So, then the commandments of God are also the Sons commandments.

From what I know of Christianity, God and Jesus are the same, so if you want to get to God, you have to go through God, which makes absolutely no sense.

Even Oprah Winfrey, with all her billions of dollars, has admitted on national television that, while auditioning for her time-honored role in The Color Purple, she was full of self-doubt and worried that she was too fat to get the part. When she prayed and confessed to God that she was too consumed by the desire for that part, she surrendered it all to Him and look what He gave her. Some Christians tend to pluck a single verse of scripture from its context and it loses it's power to proselytize. It's as simple as this: If you make Christ first in your life, before all other things, including family, friends, dreams and ambitions, He will help you find your way to fulfilling those dreams while giving Him all the glory. He is a good God...all the time.

Even Jesus admits that he isnt God in the bible...most christians will overlook this part but Matthew. 19:17 (“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God”)? Jesus was saying that he wasnt perfect...so if you compare Jesus to god and claim they are all the same then its an admission of non perfection all the way across the board....Jesus is Admitting that if he isnt perfect then neither is God...But Jesus clearly seperates himself from God by saying no one is perfect but god...sounds like the words of a prophet not God

People don't say those things. The Bible does. Nothing contradicts. You can't just read one verse and accuse the entire Book of lies because you don't understand it. Christianity is a daily walk. Growth and understanding is constant. Not everyone that claims to be Christian is a "good person". Neither is everyone that claims to be anti-Christian is a "good person". Everyone is living his life to his own end. We must be wise to weed out the bad and embrace the good no matter who we are.
