You cannot formulate your question this way. Jesus I am sure never had anything against homosexuality. Only the church made it a sin. And the church pretends to have the monopoly of the interpretation of the words of Jesus. We know what happened during the inquisition. Iam myself straight and i look at homosexuality as a simple difference in taste. just be patient a few more years and we will be mature enough to not even notice it. Ihope

Jesus did not mean in that way no matter what people may do today . he meant love, as in listen to his teachings and respect him . he was not being gay by asking men to love him because he didn't ask for them to do anything else. he also asked women this, but he wasn't a player either, so he didn't do any thing wrong. so he can say that homosexuality is a abomination because he never lowered his self to it.

You have a problem in semantics.
It is unfortunate that English has only one word for love, whereas the original Greek of the New Testament has at least FOUR words for love. Here are three: eros - sexual love between a husband and a wife; philio - love for my family members; agape - love between God and humans.
Also, be careful with the English words "law" and "wine" as used in the Bible. Each one has multiple meanings. And there are other such words.

Because the religious sect is getting smaller, just as our UAW & AFL/CIO, he doesn't want to lose out on the brotherhood of union! There is power in numbers, always has been, & always will be. But because of the bad rap the Catholic religion has been getting lately, the number of it's members are dwindeling. They have had to close 150 churches this year alone, because of the child molestation law suits payout alone. Jesus wants men to love him cause he will accept anyone at this point!

I cant possibly believe that you are trying to insinuate that, no alive today could possiably be that stupid, but then again your picture does speak a thousand words

There are different kinds of love, homosexuals have a sexual love, the love for Jesus is the love of a Father and Savior. A guy loves his father right?

Jesus wants all people, not just men to love Him.
This love is not a human sexual love, it is a love for God which is quite different.
Even on the human level there are different types of love - love for a parent, a pet, a sunny day, but they're not sexual in nature.
Have a nice day :-)

The English language has only one word for "love" while Greek (the language of the New Testament) has at least three.
In English, we say "I love you" ( I want to jump your bones)
"I love you" (as a friend or because you're part of my family)
"I love you" (unconditionally the way God loves us).
Note the word is the same for all three meanings. In Greek, the word "eros" refers to sexual love; "phileo" refers to family or brotherly love and "agape" refers to God's unconditional love. It is this "agape" love that Jesus is refering to.
You can research this yourself using a good Greek lexicon.
