Why can't I live my life without people telling me they'll pray for me, or "God bless you" or In God We Trust or One Nation Under God or "Jesus loves you" or Jesus died for my sins (even though I don't have any sins)?

I'm happy, I'm a good person. What difference is it to you if I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior or not.

Why can't I exercise MY freedom of religion to have NONE and be left alone?

many claim we worhip God each in our own way.
If that is so then Jesus' cruxifiction and resurrection is irelevent. I would worship Jesus the man who performed countless miracles in his time in Judea and rose from the dead. No other "God" did what he did to prove his diety.

Insecurity leads to all the misunderstandings and other bad stuff. One should just choose one path and be secure about the choice.

But, one should also have an open mind to listen to what others have to say and try not to be judgemental about them. Is that it? Have I found the light? *smiles*

"Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks--those who write new values on new tablets."

"God is a creator. We must also be creative. A human being gets close to God through creativity."

It is my belief that if you can't explain something you learned from the Bible IN YOUR OWN WORDS, then you don't really know what you're talking about. It is as though you were merely spitting out unchewed, unrefined scripture at people instead of telling them something you have absorbed and made part of your daily activities.

Case in point: Do you say, "Here comes the train! CHOO CHOO!!" every time you put a spoon full of food in your mouth? Do you still keep your hands at '2 and 10' when you drive your car? Do you still wear a daiper, or are you good without one? So, why should I believe that you understand what you're talking about as far as the Bible is concerned if you still think the scripture says it better than you?

Any time you defend your beliefs by quoting scripture, it's like you're running to GOD and telling him that I disagree with you and expecting him to smite me down for it. Do you think GOD's word is so weak that it needs to be enforced at gunpoint?

Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life, and no one can come to the father, but through me"
Thus, he is the only way to God. Im talking about Jesus who died for our sins and restored our place in heaven if we believe in him.
All other great religious teachers (buddha, mohammad, etc.) only claimed to be teachers or prophets, but Jesus claimed he knew God since he was God. His 300 miracles are enough to support his claims. No other person could do what he did.
Early roman historian Cornelius Tacitus (a.d 55-100) supported New Testament claims about Jesus' life also Jewish historian Flavius Josephus (a.d 38-100+) to name some sources

There are over 33,000 different Protestant religions with opposing doctrines that all call themselves "Christian".

I want to have a chart that shows the difference in the teaching of each one and the time table of when those changes took place in comparison with the other 32,999 Protestant religions.

If someone can cast a spell successfully werent they meant to be a witch ? If everyone has freedom of religion why are so many people judged by others and have the right to so you are going to Hell . Or you have to give your life to god to be saved,Deep down no one knows . NOone .. No one has seen the end no one here now was there at the begenning, So many people follow what others say instead of listening to there heart , How do bible thumpers know if the bible is a trick or a spell to lead you in the wrong direction , How do you truely know ,You dont , do you ,I am not saying what i believe in one or the other ,

When attending various churches it has been my experience that much attention is given to the same religious rituals; reading verses, singing songs and collecting donations from the parishioners. I've yet to hear a sermon about the importance of brotherhood, tolerence and loving thy neighbor.

Do you ever study different religions, even if you don't follow them? If you have, good for you. If you haven't, I highly suggest it. You'd be surprised at what you can learn. Personally, I find Buddhism fascinating, even if I don't practice it. I took a seminar class on it in school last year, and I'm very glad I did. I think it gives you a much broader worldview, and helps you better understand other cultures, to a certain extent. And it won't necessarily convert you unless you want it to, if that's what's holding you back ^_^.

Every war seems to be a religous war. Would the world be more peaceful if God and Allah were taken out of religion. Maybe tear up th Quran and Bible. They and their religons aren't making the world any better.
