How can the Koran make such a racist statement, and a blanket statement at that.

Thats right up there with the KKK teachings about Jews.

This is very true. I am home alone with my 3 year old and I hear this knock at the door. I hurry and get dressed to see who it is and I get to the door and it is open and no one is there. Now, I was mostly dressed when I heard it, (just missing my shorts), and my bedroom is 50 feet from the front door. I went outside and NO ONE was there anywhere. So I sat down on the couch to wait and lo and behold I heard something else, but again no one was there. I just come back to my desk after sitting here before getting dressed and something I haven't seen in years, in fact I forgot I had it, is sitting on my desk. Freaky!! What do you make of it? Has anything like that happened to you?

It seems that the GOP is hard-core on getting this gay marriage ban into the Constitution and then once that happens they'll want to turn our govenment into a theocracy. What do you think?

Is it the hypocrisy in Christianity that causes you to doubt it, or is it your logic? If none of the above: please explain why you disbelieve?

why has God written only one book, is it not time for a sequel? why has God not spoken to and dictated a few more chapters to anyone. A few more adventure stories about some dudes in the middle east that talk to God whilst alone would be nice. oh, and did God create homeowners?

The term rapture has not always been around. It is never mentioned in the Bible. What did christians believe before this man-made doctrine? Revelation was not the last book written and if you believe revelation still has to happen then you would believe satan is still in heaven. In the Bible Jesus told the people they would not taste of death before he returned. Those people are not still around. People believe during the rapture graves burst open and people's bodies meet back up with their spirit for a little while only to leave them again when their spirit goes to heaven. I believe this happened when Jesus descended before he ascended. It was called the great commission. He freed christians in purgatory. So have these events that we have always called rapture already happened?

Deists disavowed the divinity of Jesus. They regarded the accounts of miracles in the Bible as just ignorant superstition. Wouldn't they be insulted at being labeled a "Christian?"

Holy Bible: Romans 8:6,7

For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God

"Enmity" seems to be the law in Ephesians 2:15,
which Christ "abolished", to become our "peace".

Christianity's 'Salvation through some dude' theory comes from nowhere. It only exists in the New Testament. Isn't it highly likely that Satan manipulated the truth and offered people a short-cut, the easy way to Heaven to decieve them?

Moses had the 10-step plan: "The 10 Commandments"
Christianity offers the 1-step plan: "Believe in Jesus"

I think it is ver unfair. We never did anything bad to any of you, unless being to nice is a crime! We do not proticipate in polygamy anymore just so you know... and we do celebrate Christmas, birthdays, and so forth. We are just regular people, why do you hate us for our religion? Why can you not accept us for who we are? Ever since Joseph Smith started this church tghere have been mobs, and killings. Now people are more civilized, and that has ended and yet there is still whisperings, and threats. Why I ask once more? Can someone give me a good clean straight answer?

Okay, so we all know that people raised in religious households (Catholic, Baptist, Jewish) frequently reject their home religion later in life to become athiests, agnostics, or spiritual but not religious. But how often do people who were raised in non-religious households become religious? I don't necessarily mean conversion because of marriage; I'm mostly referring to one's own free will. Is this common? Any links to articles or personal stories to share? Thanks.
