Holy Bible: Romans 8:6,7

For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God

"Enmity" seems to be the law in Ephesians 2:15,
which Christ "abolished", to become our "peace".

Good comparison. Carnal actions lead to carnal results, spiritual actions lead to spiritual results, reaping as we sow.

I believe you're talking about 2 seperate things.
You're right on the first part Romans 8:6-7.

But on the second part, you got wrong--"Christ never abolished the law" or the "Sabbath Day Saturday".
The texts that prove it (Rom.3:31; Rom.8:4; Heb.3:18-19; 4:1-11; 2Pet.2:21; 1John 2:3; Rev.14:7,12.)

Eph.2:15 talks about something completely different; it talks about the "law contained in ordinances"---yes, those were done away with; but not the "Law of God".

Here's what Col.2:15 & Eph.2:15 really talk about.
It seems that most believe that these two texts are saying that the Sabbath and/or Sabbath Feasts are done away with; let me ask you a question; who wrote these books; wasn't it Paul? Paul kept the Sabbath (Acts 17:2) & the Sabbath Feasts (Rom.5:11) like Jesus; then these texts must not be talking about that, when the Bible says to follow Jesus(Col.2:6) and the Apostles(Eph.2:20). If you believe the Bible is inspired (2Tim.3:16) and is the truth(John 17:17); continue on!
If everyone read the Bible clearly on these matters like Jesus did; then there wouldn't be false interpetations. The Bible says in Col.2:16-17 "LET NO MAN THEREFORE JUDGE YOU....WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME" inwhich Jesus showed openly. (Col.2:20-22 & Heb.9:9-13 & Mark 2:23-28; 7:2-23 & Luke 13:10-16; 14:1-3 & John 5:8-10). Notice in every matter, the Pharisses thought (judge) it was wrong to eat with unwashed hands, to heal on the Sabbath, helping out people/animals on the Sabbath as other things; but Jesus always came back with Bible answers to them.

If you really want to know the truth of things; you really should ask God for wisdom = James 1:5 and "let the Holy Spirit guide you " (2Peter 1:19-21). Also you should let the Bible interpet itself (Isaiah 28:9-10).

CARNALLY MINDED IS: actually fighting with God; doing your own righteousness; being wise in your own conceits; not following Jesus; being offended of the Word of God (Rom.10:3; Rom.12:16; 1Cor.2:14; Phil.2:21; Col.2:8; 1Tim.1:7; 2Tim.3:2-5,7; James 3:2)

SPIRITUALLY MINDED IS: letting the Holy Spirit guide you, proving things, letting Bible interpet itself, following Jesus and the Apostles (Rom.12:2; 1Cor.2:10-13,15-17; Eph.5:9-10,12; Col.2:6; 1Thess.5:20-21; Eph.2:20; 1John 4:6)

Being carnal mindeds final out come is self and what pleases self. Spiritual mindedness is to keep all your action based on the Word of God not following what you want to happen. If some one treats you bad you want vengeance Gods say treat him with love go out of your way to help him. carnal < spiritual
The law and grace go hand in hand. the law lets us know that we are sinners and grace shows us we are forgiven. Christ did not abolish the LAW He fulfilled it in doing so His sacrifice of innocence made us free from the LAW of sin by grace in Him. Not the law of God read Romans 7 then read 8 it will give you a clearer view.....

To be carnally minded is to be of this world, to enjoy the pleasures of sin, to be spiritually minded is to be mindful of the things of god without this way we are lost.

Romans 8:5
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit

We are transformed by the renewing of our minds so we think according to the ways of God rather than the world that opposes Him.
