Because they kicked him out of town for blasphemy, and threatened to kill him if he didnt leave by morning, which he did.
He ( Muhammed) has had problems with jews his whole life. If they didnt believe Jesus, they surely werent going to belive him, and he knew it.

well I consulted the Qur´an, and I don´t see a Al-Barqarah 2:95..it only goes to 2:94 then starts part 3..
in 3:96 it reads- There is no compulsion in religion. Verily the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path.
Is this really why yer pissed..Allah will destroy Riba,(usury) and will give increase for Sadaqat(deeds of charity, alms, etc) And Allah likes not the disbelievers and the sinners.

Al Baqarah ( 2 : 95 )
"But they can never have a longing for death because of what they have done. God knows the unjust well. (2:95) "
Your statement from 2:96
Huh...
Let's read from the 2: 91 - 96
When they are told to believe n God's revelations, they reply, "We believe only in what God has revealed to us," but they disbelieve His other true revelations, even though these revelations confirms their own (original) Scripture. (Muhammad) ask them, "Why did you murder God's Prophets if you were true believers?" (2:91) (Moses) brought you certain miracles. Not very long after, you began worshipping the calf which was nothing but senseless cruelty to yourselves. (2:92) (Children of Israel) when We made a covenant with you, raised Mount Tur (Sinai) above you, and told you to receive devotedly what We had revealed to you and to listen to it, you said that you had listened but you disobeyed. They denied the truth and became totally devoted and full of love for the calf. (Muhammad) tell these people, "If, in fact, you are true believers, then what your faith commands you to do is evil." (2:93) (Muhammad), tell them, "If your claim is true that the home with God in the everlasting life hereafter is for you alone, you should have a longing for death" (2:94).
But they can never have a longing for death because of what they have done. God knows the unjust well. (2:95)
However, you will find them the greediest of all men, even more than the pagans, for life. They would each gladly live for a thousand years, but such a long life would not save them from the torment. God sees what they do. (2:96)
Do you know the history of Jewish ( Qainuqa', Nadhir, & Quraizah ) & Muslim? What they did with Medinah charter?
Do research what happen btwn them.

First of all, JEWS ARE NOT A RACE!!!
Race is a genetic distinction, and refers to people with shared ancestry and shared genetic traits. You can't change your race; it's in your DNA. Common ancestry is not required to be a Jew.
Nevertheless, when the Quran addresses Jews, Christians, Muslims, ...whatever. The message is from God to his creators. Even if God spoke about a particular race...How could you call the creator of a race racist?? .. Your logic is fallible
Do you mind these verses :
Children of Israel! call to mind the favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others. (Surah 2:47 repeated in 2:122)
Remember Moses said to his people: "O my people! Call in remembrance the favor of Allah unto you, when He produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave you what He had not given to any other among the peoples.(Surah 5:21)
We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favored them above the nations. (Surah 45:16)
Stop nitpicking the Quran, you'll never understand the message that way or any message of any book.

i agree with some others here, that this is a racist comment and being a muslim, its kinda sad for me, but again all religions have some sense of superiority over the others and we also have to look at the time this was written, and the exact events that were taking place, just reading this one line cannot give us the entire meaning of islam and this sentence does not support the fact that muslims hate or must hate the jews, i for one, dont...

Yes, but remember it talks about the time when Islam just started to show up as a religion and of course that they were fighting to get as more as they could get believers like some people are fighting here for points!

Did you know there are 7,000 religions in the world, and each one of them thinks they are right? That is a racist statement, from what I've read of the Qu'ran, it sounds like a bunch of brainwashing to me. Including this statement.

Well not to bad month the Koran but it also supports slave ownership and beating women.
The Bible supports stoning people for touch pigs.
You have to take the books for when they were written.

The holy Quran 5:64
The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them We have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.

Are you just figuring this out about "the religion of peace"?
Of course, the bible makes a few racist/ethnicist claims as well. It is the way of religion.
