The word rapture mean to be caught up or caught away, terminolgy changes from time to time.the word came in this end time,HE ,our LORD JESUS CHRIST IS the word.to reject the word that came, is to reject HIM,or,refuse HIM.the catching away in HIM(THE WORD) is being raptured,GOD calling HIS people out of a people unto himself, away from creed and dogma to a pure WORD ,given by the man he chose to bring that word,GOD seperating a people unto himself thus catching them away,(rapture)

1) No where in the Bible does it mention a secret rapture
2) Secret Rapture was created in 1600s by a Catholic monk called Ribera. No one accepted it then.
3)Where in the Bible does it mention purgatory
4) Revelation says that New Jerusalem descends and the Unrighteous and Satan and his angels are destroyed this is obviously a future event.
5) You are quoting
"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Matthew 16:28
keep reading and you see Jesus was talking about the transfiguration.
No the Secret Rapture has not happened because their is no secret rapture.

True there is no word "Rapture" in the Bible. It was started by one man who preached a Pre Tribulation "Rapture" or catching away which was purely his own wishful thinking still embraced by many unlearned people.
YOU SAID: "In the Bible Jesus told the people they would not taste of death before he returned." and much like the man I mentioned above, you are twisting scriptures. Jesus never said that.
Jesus told Peter about John that "IF" he willed that he remain alive until he return what is that to them.
ALSO Jesus said that the Gospel would not be preached in all the cities of Israel till he returned..., and in deed non of the Apostles preached in every city in Israel.
Jesus came to man in the Holy Spirit as a comforter - NOT in his physical form to set up HIS reign for 1000 years - that is yet to come, and will come soon enough.
You need to read your Bible better instead of taking somebody elses word for it.
The Apostle Paul warned of people like you in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 1 through 12 ..., and told the people NOT to be alarmed by this false teaching.
You're teaching a false doctrine and Paul had your number. Either that or somebody missled you - either way you're teaching a vain lie.

good theory but i disagree , im not totally sure about the rapture
ill just hit high points not to bore
i dont think people truly believed they were in the last days before the idea of a rapture seeing how israel was not a country.
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
the theory of the rapture was based on a dream.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
look at the time when Gods WRATH was on the earth , sodom and Gomorrah and in the time of noah. the righteous escaped; pre wrath
i believe in a pre trib rapture and the church will be at marriage supper of the lamb while the tribulation is going on. look into jewish wedding ceremonies it fits well with a pre trib rapture.
conclusion, pre trib rapture or it wont happen, i dont expect either to happen in my lifetime anyway (im 23) so im just going to follow Christ.

No, the second coming of Christ has NOT happen. There will be no "pre trib rapture" its not biblical and Christ is only coming back ONCE not twice,or seven, eight times. In the book of Revelation, not all the prophecies have been fulfilled in that book. Its end time prophecies, John foresaw.
There is no such thing as purgatory for the dead. And the dead have not risen from there graves yet, that's going to happen when Christ returns they will rise and the rest of us that remain will ascend and forever with Christ will be.

that's gloomy because scripture equates the rapture with the unveiling of the anti-christ and the full tribulation (7 years) immediately following Jesus coming to earth and setting up the dominion of God in Jerusalem. This hasn't ever exceeded off and human beings have really misinterpreted scripture contained in the previous.

When the rapture takes there will be millions missing instantly, then the Antichrist will come on the scene to calm everything down and seem to have all the answers. He will eventually cause everyone to take the mark of the beast 666.

No!! I'm still here so it hasn't happened yet. The people Jesus refered to as being alive are the generation who will be living at the time of his return as they will see all those things mentioned during their life time and not the generation to whom he was talking as they are long dead and gone.Matt.Ch 24 gives a good insight into the events which will happen.

No. The rapture itself will be no secret, and everyone on earth will witness it first hand.
