The bible clearly states that only 144,000 people will go to heaven yet every christian religon says that if you repent belive and get baptised you will go to heaven..if anyone out there can tell my why the bible and christioan religion differ i would love to hear this by the way you can find this number in luke.
Luke 12:32 shows that there is only a "little flock" that shares in the heavenly kingdom. Rev. 14:1 speaks of only 144,000 being with Christ in heaven. Rev. 5:10 brings out that they will be kings and priests "over the earth." Who will they rule over with Christ? Psa. 37:11, 29 shows that meek and righteous mankind will inhabit the earth. This follows the premise of what a kingdom actually is: a relatively small group of beings governing a much larger group. Of course, it would make sense that only those who have demonstrated their faith in God's promises in both word and deed would be chosen for that position.

For instance, many of the world's crucified godmen have their traditional birthday on December 25th. This is because the ancients recognized that (from an earthcentric perspective) the sun makes an annual descent southward until December 21st or 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops moving southerly for three days and then starts to move northward again. During this time, the ancients declared that "God's sun" had "died" for three days and was "born again" on December 25th. The ancients realized quite abundantly that they needed the sun to return every day and that they would be in big trouble if the sun continued to move southward and did not stop and reverse its direction. Thus, these many different cultures celebrated the "sun of God's" birthday on December 25th. The following are the characteristics of the "sun of God":

The sun "dies" for three days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops in its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin."
The sun is the "Light of the World."
The sun "cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him."
The sun rising in the morning is the "Savior of mankind."
The sun wears a corona, "crown of thorns" or halo.
The sun "walks on water."
The sun's "followers," "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.
The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High"; thus, "he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30°; hence, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.
The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified," which represents its passing through the equinoxes, the vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected

"And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

"And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt." 1 Kings 4:29-30.

They are not compatible. The Bible says God love the world so much He gave His one & only Son, that whoever trusts & relies on Him would not perish but have eternal life.
The Quran says Allah has no son!

Explain to us what experiences you have had, to where non denominational christians are hypocrites (I say non denominational because I want specifics). I am curious as to what yal have to say, pinpoint specifically how? I mean I know my hearts desire is to love God, others as i would myself. I know I get mad when a driver cuts me off on the freeway, I also stay away from dramatical people that like to cause drama, I feel for my friends that have issues with guys, I like to go have a beer with my bf and all our buddies at happy hour. I mean just because I am a christian that i cannot live a normal life of emotions, fun, and chillout. How are christians hypocritical? Please its a question not criticising, I just dont have many christian friends. I dont understand what people are talkin about?

**Saddam Hussein killed and tortured all that did not believe and follow him, better known as smiting.

**Saddam Hussein rewarded those who did follow him and they got to live in palaces, better known as Heaven.

**He offered Salvation from the smitings through the democratic election he held where people could choose to vote for him showing that he gave the people "free will".

**He also had armed guards outside the polling booths to punish those that exercised their free will, or send them to Hell.

*********Saddam Hussein must be God.

I know the bible (was forced to in school) and there was NEVER mentions ONCE the word RAPTURE or say ANYTHING about it. The bible does say jesus will come again BUT nothing about after taking people up first. AND DON'T TRY and use the verse that with the women in feild where one was taken and the other left behind. all that verse proves that jesus comes and takes people once before they are destroyed in FIRE. Not eternal hell!
