Explain to us what experiences you have had, to where non denominational christians are hypocrites (I say non denominational because I want specifics). I am curious as to what yal have to say, pinpoint specifically how? I mean I know my hearts desire is to love God, others as i would myself. I know I get mad when a driver cuts me off on the freeway, I also stay away from dramatical people that like to cause drama, I feel for my friends that have issues with guys, I like to go have a beer with my bf and all our buddies at happy hour. I mean just because I am a christian that i cannot live a normal life of emotions, fun, and chillout. How are christians hypocritical? Please its a question not criticising, I just dont have many christian friends. I dont understand what people are talkin about?

Just about everyone is a hypocrite. However people who call attention to their Christianity represent their religion...so when they act hypocritical (as everyone does), they do so not as themselves but as a Christian.

Example:

Christianity preaches not to judge. Now, if someone were to run around telling everyone, "I'm a Christian, I'm a Christian...do as I say, do as I say, don't sin, don't sin....oooooo, you're going to hell!"

Well, they just judged! And they did so in the name of Christianity. Its normal, we all do it...but some people do it in the name of their relgion...making the entire religion look bad.

Kinda like how some Muslims kill in the name of Islam...it makes the whole religion look bad.

Christians (not all, but some) are hypocrites. There is a huge non-denominational move that is trying to get the Christian church back where it was meant to be. Many denominations have passed judgement or made requirements in order for people to join or remain a part of their church. This totally goes against the entire New Testament of the Bible and the core of Jesus' teachings. It goes against Romans which is fairly close to the core of Christianity's beliefs.

Christians should not go to war Romans 14:19
Christians accept the Bible as accurate 1 Thessalonians 2:13
Christians place more importance on spiritual matters than material things
Matthew 6:19,20
There are plenty other examples but the point is:
Anyone calling themselves Christian, but not following these guidelines makes themselves a hypocrite.

Real Christianity is a relationship directly between man and God. It does not require some middle man (as some churches will claim). If you need help or did something wrong you can take it directly to God yourself. Many people claim to be Christian, but in reality they are so self-centered and use it as a way to justify the things they do. Christianity teaches that we should do unto others as we would have done unto us. So if you do something wrong and use Christianity as an excuse you are sinning. I would suggest that you read John 3:3-6 and Ephesians 2:8-9. If you want to talk let me know.

Not all are hypocrites but a good many are. They will be the first to judge a homosexual or a couple that is unmarried but living together in church but yet a knew a lot of people that were like that in church and then when they decided that they wanted to move in with someone before they were married it was ok, for them but not others. Or the preach that they are suppose to help spread the word of God to others and help them to find their way but the first thing that they do to people that are lost or of another religion or that have a different lifestyle is say that they are going to hell. And pretty much tell them that they are scum instead of trying to help them. I'm not saying that all of them are like that, I am a Christian, and there are plenty of people that do not behave this way but there are some that do.

A hypocrite is anyone who isn't (him/herself) what He/She preaches. A person who said He/She is a Christian, Yet Has never made Jesus Christ His/Her Lord by confession & believing in His/Her heart in the salvation plan (cross) & that Jesus rose from the dead.

A born-again person cannot abide in sin (habitual). When someone molests children or anyone habitually & claim to be a christian, person is a hypocrite. If a person's church does not have the Christian salvation foundation, that is a hypocrite church.

A Christian builds One's house on the Rock of Christ a sure foundation. If you build on it wood, hay, stubble, it will get fried. If you build on it obedience to the Word of God, it is everlasting. As a Christian, you cannot abide in sin & if you try, God might take you home early or let something come into your life that would put an end to your bad behaviour. It is written that Father God disciplines His children. For one example: I know one Christian guy who was in an adult store (porno) feeding an addiction & He had a heart attack. Another example, a person left a Christian church to attend a hypocrite church & went to Heaven early.

God has called us out of darkness into light. It is written: Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? In Romans 12:1, I urge You by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, that is your spiritual service of worship; 2, And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that what is good and acceptable and perfect.

You should ask God for true Christian friends. God gives me prayer partners when I ask God for Christian friends.

This is very easy to answer. Many Christians do not practice what they preach. They talk a good game.

Many churches cannot see past the collection plate and the front door as well. They have never heard of the words community outreach.

well in my opinion Christians preach about the righteous way to live and most not all are very judgmental about people that don't go to church and what i have found is that it doesn't necessarily mean that because everyone has their own way to receive faith cause that's what Christianity is the belief or faith in something that has a positive influence on life and the pursuit of a happy well being. most Christians don't realize that and they judge! which makes them hypocrites

Most christians say the laws of God and try to force them on others, but they then live an entirely different way than what thay say, and Roburo, outlawing religion would be a hateful and despotic thing to do.

Normally people don't say modern christians are hypocrits, it's some of the ancient things, like how God says, "don't kill people," then turns around and says, "oh, and by the way, go and kill everybody in this one nation except for the virgin girls. Those you can keep for yourself." That's hypocrisy, and disturbing all at once!
