Do you believe this has any validity?

Yes, especially if you equate stupidity to ignorance.

Well, that depends on how you are defining stupidity. It may have validity, but the argument is going to have to be fairly good in order to make it sound. And what is a "Satanic Sin"? I thought sin was just sin. Since when have we been classifying them into different types of sin?

Religion is people’s beliefs and opinions pertaining to the reality of an upper power.
Each person has his or her own beliefs and opinion and just because a person does not think the same way as another is not a form of stupidity it is a form of ignorance.
One form of stupidity would be this unintelligent question, stop trying to make people think you are smart by making a person believe this is a credible site!

I've always agreed with Anton LaVey in his assertion that willfully ignorance is one of the greatest sins a human being can commit. He took it a bit further later on, stating that ignorance should be painful. As mean as it may sound, I completely agree.

The Nine Satanic Sins are:

1. Stupidity
2.Pretentiousness
3.Solipsism
4. Self-Deceit
5.Herd Conformity
6.Lack of Perspective
7.Forgetfulness of past Orthodoxies
8.Counterproductive Pride
9.Lack of Aesthetics

I don't agree with all nine, but there they are.

Yes. There's nothing that irritates me more than stupidity; especially if it's coming from an reasonably intellegent person. I've always believed that once a person passes their 18th birthday then there's no more excuse for stupidity.

A stupid act, remark, or idea

Well, based on the dictionary, it sounds like stupidity is summarizing the act...not the people that are doing it.
