The devil is crafty. He makes things appear to be good when they really are not. Most of the time he starts out with little white lies until people believe it is true.
For example
Divorce. There was a time when people knew it wasn't a good thing to do... They knew the consequences it would have on society and their own children. Now, it seems that everyone has bought into the idea that it is fine. The consequences have been devastating to our society and everyone is scratching their head about what has happened.

Satan or the Devil is a thief, murderer and a liar. When he speak a lie, he speaks in his native tongue, lies. He steals the truth and murders anything related to it and causes those who are weak and who do not have a right relationship with Christ to believe in these lies because he also knows scripture, but refuses to believe in it or speak the truth. Satan very well knows Christ, he knows His purpose for dying on the cross and satan is "hell-bent" on causing others to turn away, hate, not believe in the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ because Satan is jealous of our relationship with God that he once had. We are made in the image and likeness of God Almighty, and Satan knows this, so he sets us up with lies, tricks, deceptions and the like to cause us to blame and hate God who so loved the world that He gave us His one and only Son Jesus to take our place of death for the sins we have committed against God. Jesus came to restore our right relationship with God, Satan appears to destroy and kill that right relationship with God through lies, through media, through not reading the bible, through unforgiveness and hypocrisy. The devil is and will always be, a thief, murderer and a liar...that you can believe. Embellishing the truth is a modern way of saying lying, or white lies. A lie is a lie, simple fact.

The Devil is a manipulator, he will do or say or make others' believe that HIS way is right. He is GOD'S RIVAL. His passion is to make liars and deceivers out of all of us. I think he tells the truth most of the time. He only lies when he is lazy. The devil will learn the bible to manipulate your thoughts.It's not the truth he isn't trying to hide frome you, but how you preceve it. Just because it is the truth doesn't mean you have to suport it.
