You don't have to be a goodie-goodie two shoes in Heaven, is there a heaven. Thats the real question. Rules or no rules. Hell is here on earth. Think of the turmoil we suffer down here, Drought, starvation, death by bombs , abuse sexaully or other, vilocent, could hell be any worse.

I thought "heaven" was just an abstract term for where each individual soul feels most comfortable and happy. Rules? Who told you there would be rules? There is no pain or suffering, that's all and you can be with all the creatures you have ever loved who left this world before you did; human or animal. Hell, however, is a state worse than living - full of mental anguish and confusion and no peace of mind whatever! Lots of mental agony. If that's what you really would like, then you can always try to go there!

That's a funny way of looking at it, but have you ever been at peace with yourself, or others around you, or even the world. Heaven is not a case of putting your feet up and doing nothing, there is a lot of work to be done, looking after the poor soles that have had problems, but that's a long story, and as far as rules go, there is no need for them, as everybody works towards the same goal.

Love & Peace

So you would rather live in a land where you are considered nothing more than an object to be used and abused and then passed on (This is the logical end result of a place with no rules)?
Your self esteem must be incredibly poor

in heaven there will not be the need to rebel because those rules will be perfect (god's rules still are but satan has a big influence on us that's why we don't see them as good all the time) and in heaven there will be no evil. plus, who said heaven is a boring place? it's not angels and harph songs on clouds and stuff. . .it's beyond our imagination. hell is definetelly bad. the idea of hell being good and heaven being bad is like the idea of salt being sweet and ice-cream being sower.

If God can create this Nirvana, and knows all that was, is and shall be, therefore knows all things that will happen to any of his creation - what the hell is life all about then.

Either he doesn't know what people will do, and is therefore not omnipotent, and therefore creates people in a rat-maze like experiment - presumably to wile away the eons,

or

He does know what exactly is going to happen and is carrying out some bizarre act of Super-being masturbation.

That's a thought, is God the ultimate On(e)anist.

That's just stone-cold stupid. You have NO IDEA what you're going to miss-------and what your going to get. Hate rules? Hell will have them. Goodie-two-shoes everyday? You are so ignorant of heaven. Hope you find your way. (Oh ya, you'll SOOO rebel!)

when will people learn christianity is not about rules
your idea of heaven is a might bit tainted........
and you tell me if you make it down there its better..........at least in heaven you can have a drink.......
and the climate is a lil' better too
IT IS NOT ABOUT THE RULES!!!! It is about freedom....you have to understand that is why Christ came. He died not to post a bunch of rules for you to follow but to give you something better....He himself was a man after your own heart a rule breaker and not conforming to society's standard of the way things should be.

Actually the belief in either is bad. Because it stands in the way of perceiving reality as clearly as possible. Anything that clouds our perception of reality is bad for us. That is if your life is your highest value. If not than live with wanton abandon, and breeze through life without a care. Let the rest of the universe decide your best chances for survival.

HINT: The rest of the universe could care less if you live or not. (Except for your loved ones that is)

I'm sorry, but I just can't buy into this Heaven lark, It's such a hard sell that it's almost sinister - in fact it's just like timeshare, Heck, it is timeshare! Note the leaflets through the door, invitation to nice venue - shut the doors behind - tea and biscuits and sign with you soul on the dotted line:) they even have Tombola's!!!
No, no thanks, but hey you sound like a sensible girl - maybe I'll see you at the party on the other side. (through the red door,,,down the steps...)
