I could say 42 but that would be silly :o)
Religion is important to some people. Some people require a greater force controlling the world and need to believe that there is a better place beyond this life. They need something other than humanity and the here and now and religion is their way of dealing with life and what it throws at them.
Personally, I think you make the best of what you have here and now, treat others as you'd like to be treated and harm no one through malice or hate. Do some good whilst you're on the planet, live life and enjoy what you have for as long as you have it.

The meaning of life? The best religion for you? Here's the simplest answer I can give you... Research different religions, visit other churches, and keep an open mind. But don't let others make the decision for you. Look into your heart. Follow your gut instincts and you will do just fine.

All religions are important because they are showing the right path to go to the God.Also teaches us what to do and what not.All are saying Love All Hate None just because God is everywhere and the whole universe is the creation of the God.It is our prime duty to do best in our Life We must prey for all and all should be happy. Those who have born will die soon but our deeds will remain forever like Bhuddha ,Ram and Krishna like Jesus and Mohammad are the few immortals who will be remembered till the end of this universe.

The real purpose of life is to worship God. Wise King Solomon wrote in God's Word, the Bible, at Eccl. 12:13: "The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard is, Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man."

I don't think that religion is important. Life is about being respectful and happy and helpful, and you don't need religion to know how to do that.

I think if you belive in God and talk to him that great. That what I do. I go church some but not often . God has answerd many of my prayers. He knows more about me than anybody else. Just trust him with our life. the real meaning of life is living life like its your last day here.

The second part of your question implies that you automatically associate religion with the meaning of life which is totally spurious. The meaning of life is that it stops, as Kafka wrote....

Faith is a very personal matter. You should look at the options and then make up your own mind. Also, be ready for every single one of them to tell you that they are right and if you don't follow their beliefs, you will go to hell.
Man, you gotta be able to think on your feet or they will baffle you quick with BS.
