I'm about to graduate from College and I'm not sure what it is I want to do. I've changed my major twiced which was originally media arts then latin american studies and now humanities (which I've incorporated both but I feel like a sale-out).

I think this would be a great time for me to learn about myself and figure out what I want to do like going to Grad School or pursuing a career of sorts. But, I feel like my mother is forcing me to move home and get a job. I feel lost and I dont know what to do. Any opinions?

They annoy me everytime I go there.
Why don't they like smaller cars?

When filling out forms, questions often ask for race (White, Black [of hispanic origin, not of hispanic origin], Asian/pacific islander, or Native American. There is never a place for mixed
people.
haf black/white people usually just consider blacks
but the half asian/white people I met considered themselves"Eurasian"
not just asian, because they look half and half, and the full blood asian people think their white, white people think their asian.
and halflatino/white people usually look very white, some even have blone hair and blue eyes.
Do you think government need to add a place for mixed people like( ''bi-racial''______and_____)fill in the box.
some mixed people would filled in "other" but I don't think most people would like to be called "other".
more and more babies are mixed nowadays.

I have some drug problems in my neighborhood (not serious, but bad enough where something needs to be done)...The police never seem to be around at the right time so I was wondering how to perform a citizens arrest. Can I just arm myself, confront these pieces of s***, and hold them there until the cops come?

Am I unreasonable to want to hear my TV without thumping bass vibrating my windows from a party 5 houses away? Is it me being unreasonable that I would like to have quiet in my house when it's 4:00 am or 11:00 pm? I don't care what music people listen to, but if I listen to music...I want to choose what I hear.
I have a fear that if I call the police, I will be subjected to vandalism. What do I do?
(Please don't suggest that I move. I can't afford to do that.)

I work on sunday afternoons but have my mornings free. I can't committ myself to anything because I usually have a work meeting about every 2 months on sunday morning. The rest of the time I get up early, do laundry and cook lunch and thats about it. I have about 4 hours till I have to go to work. I can't see my lover then because he is with his wife, can't go to church because there aren't any within walking distance and the buses are unreliable on sundays and I wouldn't make it back in time to change and go to work, can't go to the mall or stores because they don't open till 12 , housework is all done, nothing on tv. Can't meet any new guys because there isn't any place to meet on sunday morning near me, everything closed. I don't have a car so I can't just get out anywhere so going to the grocery store or anything like that can be too time consuming and result in waiting an hour both ways for the bus, which I don't want to do. What else can I spend my 4 hours (9-1) doing?

Just wondering if anyone could tally up the list of the near 1000 people list of billionaires into the percentage of Jews.

I'm sure it will be interesting if its over 0.33% of the list (the amount of Jews in the world).

I might be generalising, but I think my comment is fair. Yanks seem to think that anyone not from the USA is jealous of them and wants to be like them.

And also, why are there so many of them (yanks) on UK/Ireland Answers?? It's getting annoying!!

Our business marched in the local St. Patrick's Day parade yesterday (the second largest in the Southeast states), and in the newspaper today, a transplant from Ohio mentioned the parade was a disappointing bore full of "kids and boats".

Maybe my standards are lower, because I sorta thought that's what a parade was.... Anyway, what would make you really say WOW at a parade?

I live in what i would call a pretty nice apt. There are only two levels and everyone who lives here are over the age of 25, so it is also nice and quiet. I live on the bottom floor which has a patio with a sliding glass door. You look out the door and you see the car ports. The only beef i ever had was that there is not lights in the back (besides the dim light on the patio). Still it never fazed me because the apt building is behind an old grocery store and there are many trees that border the property. Last mnth i enterd my apt door and when i turned the light on i saw a man standing on my patio trying to break into the sliding glass door. I screamed and he ran. I called 911 right away and got a police report. I than booked it out of there and stayed at my moms. I called the leasing agent and told them what happened. I did not get a " i am sorry this happened to you or anything" instead i was told that it has never happened before and NOT to tell the people in my building.

I just have, regarding work . I cant believe I let the stress of it get to me so much so that I was so upset everytime Monday morning would come around. I have now decided to change careers (kind of) and work for myslef. I cant believe just how much negativity can come from certain work places, why do people want to steal other people's happiness? Anyway, im waffling but would love to hear when people had some life changing events in their life or work situations.
