I've just had the second sales call of the day.
They ask to speak to the proprietor of the business, and when I say he's not here, they ask when would be the best time to speak to him?
If they know he's working, what the hell are they asking for??
It really winds me up.
Anyone else? Got any good answers I can use for the next one?

If I can recall, it was 1998, when I first heard of Yahoo!. I thought it was just a happy go lucky guy. When I got tired of writing postal mails to my mom abroad. She called me and told me," Just Yahoo it.,(email)" .That day, my lifestyle change.

Toady I cried as I read the daily mail. "Animal rights activists" in Germany want a baby polar bear dead just so that it does not suffer humiliation. I believe that is cruel of them to do.

The only thing wrong with the bear is it does not have a mother. It is well looked after in Berlin Zoo yet these hypocrites want him dead.

What are your thoughts?

I've noticed a lot at work - I work with loads of young women and ladies - that when one of them has a new hairdo that whatever it looks like the others say 'Ilove your new do' and then they grimace in reply 'thanks'.

Why can't you girls be honest and say 'Your new do looks a mess and I preferred the old one' ? The reply being 'I hate it too - it was a mistake' No wonder all the girls at work do is ***** about each other in the coffee room.

I know this might sound greedy or lazy....but I thought I'd ask? Is there anyone out there that occasionally helps out individuals in need? I'm not looking for mean answers, this is a rough time for me. I need about 5 thousand dollars?

Please, no scammers or perverts or mean people. I just thought I'd ask, maybe some one will read this and doesn't think that 5k is a large sum...

It seems to me that smokers have a tendency to make friends more easily. Is that just me? They all gather around and bond on their smoking breaks. People smoking always seem to have people around them. And out of all the people I know, it seems like the smokers have a tendency to be more outgoing. Is it the smoking that makes them social, or their natural sociability that makes them smokers?
