its a safe place indoors to get excersize, and possibly window shop.

Old people spnd their mornings at the mall to get a taste of heaven. A paradise where no unwanted noise or distraction from the youth. For just a few hours they would think that they rule the world without any children, teens and the youth.... or probably just to exercise.

exercise in the indoors i guess i remember one day i thought the mall was supposed to be opened and all i saw were old couple walking around and no stores were open it was so awkward and it smelled like an antique store in there and for some reason i always see elderly women wearing spandex pants......ugggg....... disturbing, i think the old men like it though

To give their body a healthy exercise while giving their eyes a good feasting over shop window displays and young shoppers alike. Isn't that heavenly relaxing?
Safe and inexpensive too.

Many may be widowed and for them, it's therepeutic to watch young couples and families walk by while they reminisce of their happier family days long past.
For older ladies, they like to look at the younger women and think back fondly of their younger days---when they attracted men and enjoyed happier care-free adolescent school years.
The Older guys also like to look at the younger women.....sorely missing their days of virluent strapping youth....mourning the loss of their more energetic sensual prowess that has gone...but their lust remains as strong today as it did back then. It's these guys I really do feel sorry for, too......for I'll be there myself one day.

Is easy to walk under a roof above you.
Protected from weather as it is Air conditioned.
And can eat when they like too!

for exercise, and the mall is a constant temp, no path obstructions, and window shopping can be fun! also, im sure their other friends are there to talk to also.....
