I saw and loved 300 (the movie). It was sooo intense half the time I was on the edge of my seat. However, my question is why did the queen give herself up to the a**hole? I mean I understand why but would the movie have been any less if she had stuck to her morals and said, no! She already had the invitation to the counsel I know she was looking for his support but wouldn't have been more important to stand her ground and keep her honor. The reason I ask is because the media always trys to portray stereotypes as if they are fact. The message I got was that men (Unidas) can stick to their guns til death but there's a weakness with women, they can talk a big game but are not as strong as men (the queen). Now I don't believe this personally butI was dissappointed in that part of the movie, what do you think?
