black people . what thinks do you think black people can do themselves to end black gangs.?

yes i know that there are lots of other races in gangs but i am asking you about black gangs. what would you like to see your own people do or ask the goverment to help with to end gangs. i am refering entirely to what you as a community can do for yourselfs to solve this problem . not what whites or others need to do but what you can do . please tell me what your idea's are . i am not racist and just because i have asked a question about black people and gangs does not make me a racist . so forget that .

I'd like to know too....
Shoot, I have tried to volunteer for big brothers big sisters and was told that they had too many white women volunteer - that they had 100 white women volunteer for every black man....what can I do then? I hate seeing young people damage the potential of having a good life. I see too many intelligent beautiful girls messing themselves up where I volunteer at the treatment center - but I dont know what to do about keeping them out of the cirlces that introduce them to that mess in the first place.
Lets face it - the best way to help someone is to have them tell you what they need - a hungry person does not need a bunch of flowers for example - and I cant help a situation that I dont understand.

That guy VISIONQUESTS needs to stop speaking on the behalf of my culture because he doesnt kno how they or especially myself think.....he might be rascist but you seem to just want an answer so I wouldnt even try to judge you like that. The reality is that gangs arent even just black anymore because originally crips and bloods where for blacks but now this world is so diverse hispanics and whites are in them also. You ask what would i do.....well as a black person i know almost everything has been done its just hasnt worked......they know how they started and even executed the original members but kids now want to continue what they did........im 17 so I know everything about the gangs of today and the question really cant be answered since THER IS NO SUCH THING AS A BLACK GANG ANYMORE.....sorry buddy but gangs are diverse......the media will show you the black gangs mostly to piss you off but matbe you should revise your question to less of a black thing to an overall gang problem....but to tell you the truth I would have the police seem rascist lol and keep arresting and scaring GANG MEMBERS ONLY not just black people....what we wear doesnt make us gang members where just dressing with the times.....

gang activity crosses all ethnic groups. If you look at the majority of gang members, there fathers have minimal or no involvment in their lives. They need to have positive male figures in their lives. That starts at home. In many instances the head of the gang reaches out to so many kids and that is the contact that a kid is longing for.

Do you find it interesting that you get no response from the black race? Does this tell you anything? Anytime you ask a question that shows the black race in less than positive light, in their eyes, you are racist. I'm not going to answer this question here, I will be banned for telling the truth.
